Maybe next video you should use your big boy voice mkay, and its pretty fuckn dumb to review software in trial mode............even for a youtube review. But you do sound really.....whats that old english word for happy again??? i'm drawing a blank
@dalushenal When I shot this video Torq 2.0 hadn't even been released yet and the only way to get it WAS the trial mode. If you don't like the video that's fine but there's no need to hate.
TORQ IS THE BIGGEST PEICE OF TRASH OUT THERE, THEY GET KILLED BY TRAKTOR AND SERATO CAUSE THOSE PROGRAMS ARE SO MUCH BETTER THAT ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY!!!! TORQ AND THAT CRAP AVID WEBSITE HAVE NO TECH SUPPORT AND WHEN YOU WAIT ON HOLD FOR HOURS YOU JUST GET THE SAME RUNAROUND THAT YOU DO TRYING TO FIND AN ANSWER ON THE WEBSITE ... PLUS THEY ARE IN CALIFORNIA SO GOOD LUCK TRYING TO GET HELP ON THE EAST COAST AND THEY HAVE NO SUPPORT ON THE WEEKEND WHICH IS WHEN YOU PROBABLY HAVE A GIG ANYWAY!!
Question.....Considering that i'm not into CDJ's I don't have Kontrol or Xponent, But Could I just hook it up to my DJM-800, KP3, And Kaoss Pad Quad without problem? or would I need to midi map everything with an M-audio box or something
@Kamari101 You might need some kind of MIDI interface, but i'm not sure. If you do the cheapest ones cost around $40. Some of those MIDI devices might be pre-mapped in Torq 2, but since you have so many i'd say you'd want to map it yourself. It's not hard at all though. Just right click whatever action you want to control in Torq 2 and then move whatever button or knob on your MIDI controller you want to control that action.
@directeeccks Built in streaming support? Don't think so. However all you need to do is re-route the audio from your mixer into the line input on your computer and then just use that audio when you stream. Should work fine, that's what I do.
i'VE USED IT FOR 4 HRS STRAIGHT AT A DANC AND NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER WITH XPONENT THIS IS TOTAL AWESOMNESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS ALREADY GOT THE UPGRADE AND JUST LOVE IT
@jinxkal I might be wrong on this one, but I believe that you just have to copy the TQD files along with your music. If that doesn't work let me know and i'll check to see if mine transferred over.
hi again every time i want to use it the wheel doesn't work ,but i ll try again in the preferences and see what im doing wrong ..but ill it work on window vista .but thanks fro wirting back but maybe one day u can make a video doing the setup for everybody ....thanks again
@Djeddieloco68 Well as I said before the Xponent automatically mapped for me so I can't really make a video about setting it up. I did make a video on how to setup 4 decks on the Xponent though. I would double check your MIDI preferences to make sure the Xponent is turned on. If that doesn't work, you might have to run Torq 2.0 in compatibility mode. Make sure you upgrade Vista to Service Pack 2, that did the trick for me when I had Vista and Torq 1.5. Make sure drivers are up to date too.
@Djeddieloco68 This let me know if Torq 1.5 was working for me or not, don't know if it's the same in 2.0 but it's worth a try. Whenever the Xponent didn't load right, the jogwheels wouldn't work and the red effects bar that the XY pad controls wasn't there. In 2.0, check to see if you can see that red XY effects bar. If you don't see it, Xponent didn't load right.
Hi i want to know how u setup the xponent to the new torq 2.0 , because I just download the demo and I really want to try it but the xponent is not working to the 2.0 i dont know why ,i went to the setup and i didnt see the anything about the xponent so can u please make a video in how to setup the Xponent to the torq 2.0 ..i can see u have it setup nicely ...and i would like to play with it too ...thanks
@Djeddieloco68 Torq should automatically recognize your connected Xponent, If not, check the MIDI menu in preferences and make sure Xponent is "on". If it's not automatically mapped you'll just have to right click and map it all. If you're using Windows 7, run Torq 2.0 in administrator mode. Hope that helps!
@koldkuts2 Actually it works with any midi controller! In Torq 1.5 you had to have an Xponent or Conectiv for the program to open, but 2.0 runs all on it's own and can be programmed to work with any midi controller.
Thanks, nice vid!!! I would like to see a video of you using the xponent with the new torq 2.0 software and his new features. Is it possible to use only the xponent and no laptop or mouse controls with traq morphing? It would also be great to see you looping, play with the effects and testing some new features in the software using the xponent. My last question: When you load samples in the sample decks....are they automatically in sync with the master tempo? Thanks, greetz. from the Amsterdam
@snoope689 I believe you can, but i've heard some people having issues loading their iTunes library in Torq since it's still in beta testing mode. Avid knows about the problem though and is working on a fix. torq-dj.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=18241&start=15
this is great i downloaded it too and i love it its about time for the Torq community to come out and show what we got, lets flood you tube with TORQ vids and show people that not only serato and traktor can do awesome things cause if you learn how to use torq you can do smoe crazy stuff if not more that with others!!! Long Live TORQ!!!! and of course whtat can you xpect from the protools guys if not a great software??? hahaha come on Torq users ARISE n show how its done!!!
