The boxing game, Like in the short, Curly can only fight while "Pop goes the weasel" is playing, and Larry, with his violin broken, has to find a radio that is playing the song. This game was not meant for kids, but for adults who knew who the 3 stooges were.

Now in case some of you don't know about the boxing one, Give a listen to the song. The episode was called "Punch Drunks". Every time Curly hears "Pop Goes the Weasel", he blacks out & starts knocking people the fuck out. That's why Larry needed that violin.

Just so you know, in the cracker eating contest, it was based off this one short where the stooges were in a foreign country. Curly was in a restaurant, and he was trying to eat oyster soup (WITH LIVE OYSTERS), and every time he put a cracker in, an oyster would eat it before he could.

That scream you hear came from that same short. If you'd like to see it, look up "The Three Stooges Oyster Soup". It's full of laughs! UNLIKE THIS STUPID PIECE OF SHIT GAME! DX

This was one of the worst games periods and the mini games that you had to play to raise money were next to almost impossible to do dued to the cheap mechaniacs and bad controls which made it almost unplayable,especially the part you play as larry to race against the clock to dodge the obstacles.

I started watching the three stooges when I was 10. They use to show shorts every Sunday Morning. They where funny but the game was indeed crap. One of the things I hated in the game was those frigging mousetraps on the newspaper. Who the fuck thought that was a good idea!? As for the trivia game I had to get my dad to help me with it because he used to watch the stooges you know a games is bad when you gotta get your parents to help you on a video game.

Worth pointing out that this game was actually made by Beam Software (who also made Back to the Future and Power Punch 2 for the NES) and Ghostbusters was by B.I.T.S., haven't got a clue what other games they made.

Fun Fact: This game was re-released on the GameBoy Advance. With no changes (as far as I can remember).

Also, as suck as the game is, one has to admit that the graphics and sound are pretty good for the NES. Did anything else on the console use digitized voices?

The boxing stages shows Larry with a broken violin. Apparently the song played (pop goes the weasel) makes Curly go crazy. In one of the episodes they were tring to find someone to box for the trio for money. it was really funny dude you should check it out aha

As for the game, I prefer the Amiga and Game Boy Advance versions. Those versions are better than this...hot mess.
