  • @zebralicious Totally agree! This song parallels Silent All These Years. It's like Tori has come full circle.

  • My parents grew up with the beatles an I have grown up with Tori Amos. I would have had it any other way..

  • She is the best pianist I have ever seen live.. I have had the gift of meeting her more then once and she is as real as they come thats why she has made it so far. My parents grew up with the beatles an I have grown up with Tori Amos. I would have had it any other way..

  • Tori love, too much lipgloss, looks like you've been snogging goose fat (still gorgeous, just stay 'within the lines')

  • @barryframic no such thing as too much lipgloss........

  • @justincrase haha I know Tori would say that! Still stand by the staying in the line part tho!

  • at the beginning she is a bit disturbing in this live version :D....anyway a great performance, love it! she is great artist!!!!

  • I dont care what Tori looks like on the outside i... as long as she keeps creating awesome music... thats all we ever wanted from her and she is still giving it to us unlike these modern pop stars who have 2 or 3 hits and they make enough money to retire.... Tori is a true artist and has always been true to the music and her fans!! So to all those people out there having difficulty stomaching her choice to look good.... YOUR JUST JEALOUS YOU WONT LOOK THIS GOOD AT 46!!!!!

  • Amazing ..so powerful !!

  • This is Classic, Ultimate Tori Amos. And this performance proves she is STILL there, behind all the wigs and fuss, it's really still her writing and playing from a place of personal power and truth. Even proved me wrong with this one. Bravo Tori!

  • Oh god, you are so... fucking idiotic. The chatter here and there on every single video is annoying. She acutally still is an absolutely beautiful woman! it was her decision to do the things she did to feel more comfortable with herself and that's it. It's unnecessary to talk about it, you cannot turn back time anyway. And who cares, in my opinion she is the greatest musicians ever, not a stupid model.

  • So fuckin' amazing... Oh my... I'm speechless. This song has some obscure kind of magic on the album, but alive... it's so powerful... AMAZING.

  • The best song ever! Happy birthday, Tori :)

  • lol @ 0:35

    why is she so fierce!?

  • a failed hair flip? LOL!

  • @carr10 Because! That is Tori.

    She IS fierce.

    xo to her.

    Dean

  • Because she's in C#nt mode

  • Betrayed? Since when does she owe you anything, listen to police me. You should feel betrayed by goverments and the elite.

  • Wonderful clip !

    Thank you for posting !

  • Beautiful.

  • This is my favorite song off of abnormally attracted to sin

  • This is excactly a song why i love Tori so much..

  • It's weird that people have gone on here to watch Tori Amos perform a live track; and they sit around passing out judgements about her! Why don't you get a life, or just turn it off if you have decided she has 'sold out' in your teeny tiny little world.

  • I think she isn't high. It's desire. She is making love to music and piano. Amazing.

  • Forget Tori's physical being for just a minute and listen to her spirit, her passion, her talent to express what few others can, and be thankful.

It saddens me that most comments I have read on her new stuff/appearences on here focus on her appearence.

I feel the power and wisdom in her new album, and that transcends all else. I don't see her when I listen, I hear her spirit...

We must all age, our idiotic society says no and we are all pressured not to, but we must all accept it, in the end.

  • It all chalks up to sexism, and for me I can't understand these people. "Honey, are you a Tori fan? are you sure? do you listen to the lyrics or think about them at all?" It's so ironic such a outspoken and innovative feminist artist still has "fans" who suffer from materialistic addiction and colonized minds of a sexist and misogynist culture. funny Tori is the reason I study feminism, yet some people vapidly spurt "wigs, outfit, age." Idiocy.

  • @Rewovener i totally agree :)

  • @Rewovener

I just miss the old Tori.

  • @laurielou2 definitly agree.

  • @Rewovener wow I loved your words, totally expresses how I feel. Tori is an absolute unique unrepeatable artist and I admire her music completely. She charges me up like a power charger a battery. I want to sing new poetry with every movement, I feel a change. Any person who shares no appreciation for an artist should be mature enough to understand that music, art and beauty are all the eye of the beholder.

Tori I have driven my car like a mad speed racer blasting your music through the freeway

  • Vocally, of course she can't hit the typical 90s Tori range. I noticed a lot of admires are commenting on the obvious plastic surgery. The reason why it's a "problem" damien, is because her early fans have stuck with her b/c of her abilities to call people out on their shit: young pop stars, religion, etc. It's just sad that she couldn't follow her own message. I think that's why there were the characters/wigs from ADP: to cover up the forehead scar tissue. She can't even move her eyebrows...

  • while she sounds decent here, she is starting to lose her voice. her high notes don't have the effortlessness and clarity they used to. but then she sounds pretty good on the new studio tracks, so maybe her body just can't physically keep up with the demands of heavy touring any longer (i remember reading that she got an average of 5 hours sleep each night on the venus tour). i thought it was pretty apparent, too, on the ADP tour. she just can't quite sing the way she used to. makes me sad.

  • I don't think she is losing her voice at all. With age, voice becomes more 'operatic', with a stronger vibrato and a sort of 'covering' effect. Check for example the high pitch notes at the end of Cooling or She's your cocaine during tha last tour... But obviously she is a pop-singer, therefore she has to back up with her voice, otherwise her music will be much heavier. (That's the same reason why, I think, she's also not 'prolonging' the notes anymore).

  • just kidding, i read that the droop can last up to three months even with the drops, or until the botox effects wear off, it's o.k. tori you could wear a bag over your head and I would still worship you. you are my King!

  • maybe she's high.

  • I love her too, and yeah, I agree. :(

  • Me too. No hate here. I just feel bad for her. And I actually think it was a Botox mishap. It can cause eye droopage--you have to use special eyedrops for a while to help stimulate the eyelid until the effect wears off. I actually fear it's why she had to reschedule this show. It's just sad, I wish she really believed how beautiful she is without all that stuff. She must not believe, or she wouldn't be doing it. Is there no one in her life who will tell her the truth? That is sad, too.

  • I dont see any problem with her getting plastic surgery

she feels better getting it done so i don't see the problem

it's not like plastic surgery is a shameful thing.

  • Exactly! I think everything she's done is very tasteful and she looks absolutely beautiful... :)

  • I really love & respect this comment IrishRedRose. It sums up everything I think about the botox/cosmetic stuff Tori has had. It's really quite heartbreaking to listen to the lyrics to this song in particular, & to look at the struggles she seems to be going through, trying to deal with aging as a woman in the public eye (I hate the fact that she felt compelled to alter herself, but it also irks me that not in a million years would people discuss, say, Paul McCartny's face w/ this much scrutiny.

  • I agree..its sad. But lets just listen to the music. After all, what can we do in our superficial world! tori isnt but...ya know. I dont get why she did this.

  • If you notice, her eye has been smaller for years. I have a poster here at home where she's gotta be in her mid-20's and the eye is smaller on her right side. I think its age that's making it droop. she is approaching 50 ya know. so, I just chalk it up to mother nature.

  • exactly. people seem to forget shes an aging woman and ofcourse she will not look or sound exactly the same as she did ten years ago. she is still and always will be exeptionally freakin brilliant.

  • lovely..thank you for taking the time and posting..cant wait for the 19th!!!!!
