  • this is cool i wounder if you could use them metal dividers that are on tv for browines to make a good solid soap bars just an idea. but it looks like it turned out great

  • Next time rub down the inside of your mold with a paper towel with mineral oil, or petrolium jelly. very very thin layer. they don't saponify and will help your soap to pop right out. Or you can line it with freezer paper :)

  • what is that stuff that you were putting on the soap to test it?

  • He is putting on phenolphthalein, albiet a little bit too early into the curing process. It reacts to the lye in the soap. If there is too much lye it will turn pink/purple. If not it light pink or translucent.
