I feed live because they eat live in the wild and live has more nutrients than frozen. I always supervise the feeding if anything does tend to happen. But before his lunch can do anything he snatches it up :)
@uNecrotic the mouse doesnt bite the snake before the snake eats it, its when the snake is around the mouse, and its attempt to escape contains biting. unless your snake is wild caught, and even if it wild caught, try to ween the snake off of live and try prekilled, then go to frozen thawed. its not worth the vet bills for that 1 time that you have a bleeding snake and dont know what to do. And the nutrients differences is bs...they are flash frozen, and gradually over many months will it go bad
why is everyone saying that its a female? A female get about 8 feet long, that one looks like its at most 7 feet. But anyways really pretty boa, Mines is currently pretty small but growing so damn fast.

what a beautiful nice looking red tail boa, you've got there, looks really healthy and well-takin' care of, can't wait til' i get mines, it's gonna be freakin' awesome lol but yeah i must agree with some people though that might be a female boa constrictor, it's way too large to even be considered a male lol so yeah i think that's a female boa.

Just by the color and pattern from the vid. Google images of a peruvian red tail boa / then a columbian - and compare them to yours. Not all of them will be the same, but the majority of the peruvians will look simular to yours.
@HuntsmanExotics i agree because the saddles have that 'extension' in the middle while colombians lack that and have lighter spots within the saddles themselves
