There is a difference between helping and being used...Helping the kid might have been to give him a shove just to get started, being used is feeling obligated to keep on pushing him when he could do that himself. I prefer the concept of being used rather than being stolen from, although I can understand that seeing it that way could make it easier to say, "No." Wanting to help and wanting approval is a problem I deal with as well.
Well I generally disagree with most normal-sensitive people writings - 99% of them were written by individuals stronger than me.
However, God's my last hope. As long as he teaches people kindness and wisdom, it suits me. I WONT die on the cross for him, I WONT be happy when my Normal Sensitive parents intimidate me telling their stories.I WONT turn the other cheek, I WONT give my weaths to poor. I WILL agree with fact I will never do well among NSP, I WILL do my bests to stay NSP - dignified.
Thanks 4 passing on the visual samples. Looking at it that way makes more sense 2me. I think it was okay to say no 2 a child 4 something that wasn't critical. I pray 2be able 2 set my limits because I know I can't blame others for depleting my energy. Thanks again. =)
What are we put on this crazy earth for if not to make life easier for others. I agree that we have to learn to say no to people but it is a release for me to give to others. The thing that got me out of my deepest depression was geting a phone call from my gma and she just cried and told me noone had called her in days and I got up and got dressed and went and talked with her for hours. Maybe that kid needed you...maybe he wanted a mom like you.
