  • this dance is kumaoni and music is collaboration of uttranchal and scots

    as the scots are also highlander so are the kumaonis

    the british and kumaoni army people developed this kind of music as so many kumaoni were posted at diffrent part of world during british raj

The traditional dress (not all of them) was brought to india by alexander the Great. The Irish recieved the tap dancing, dress, and bouzouki from the occupation in constantinople by the Catholics during the crusades. The knife dancing concept was an excercise for greek and egyptian training
