  • Pretty much said the exact same thing to my parents a few months back. This video only backs me up.

  • Eric, this is inspirational and almost made me cry, look at all great cities, they are bold and tall and can offer well designed spaces, Brisbane can retain its uniqueness and grow!

  • Haha thanks sam! Really agree, Brisbane has the potential to fix so many urban problems created from past unplanned growth. :)

  • I'd like to see a solid connection to Gold and Sunshine Coast before we restrict Urban Sprawl. This alone will take at least 50 years.

  • I'd prefer to keep our current green belt / koalas thanks.

  • @soulvisionq1 There is a mass of land out there, we are affecting a very small amount. Whats the problem.

  • @palmer1699 Every tree we cut down is an unnessessary loss to the environment. Urban Sprawl creates a lot of urban fragmentation of services while also costing taxpayers lots of money to roll out infrastructure. There is no need to see LA style sprawl in South East Queensland.

  • @soulvisionq1 We already have LA style. Just as the GC connects with Brisbane connects with Sunshine Coast - Orange County, connects with the City connects with Hollywood and so on - and It's not good! I live in the green fringe 32 kilometres from my work, five kilometres from a train station. Good message Eric & Dave, the next discussion is about building community when the lift won't let you out to meet neighbours on the next floor of your high rise...?

  • Hooray!!!!!!
