great techniques but none of these guys have any applicable takedown/shooting skills. not dissing bjj,vt,or lutalivre. i study only bjj for ever and felt that there were some basic principles that were lacking. every grappler should spend some time learning strait wrestling. after i spend one season wrestling with my highschool ive been able to takedown and control everyone back at the gym. always diversify

Excellent. These guys are hardcore fighters, you can tell by their ADVANCED moves. Simply put, Luta Livre is NO GI Brazilian Ju Jitsu.

Hugo Duarte was a popular Luta Livre fighter, as well as Marco Ruas. You could say its a "brother" art compared to Brazilian JJ.
