Lol , i saw this coming after you tried to land it the past 3 attemps, i agree with the other guy that said you still need more practice with the nitro models before you try flying these turbine models, not only can you fly it but you can provably end up hurting somebody while attempting a land or worse like a big fire, theres also flight sims you can try, better luck next time

Shame. You've made the approach too slow. The aircraft is on the back of the 'drag curve', and there is no positive control, hence the sloppy control response. It's lucky it didn't go into a full on stall. I hope u got it fixed ok. Nice model.

I know its very different to a turbine but I 've got an edf F-18 that displays similar characteristics. Smooth landings need a bit of throttle. Glide landings need to be done steeply to maintain speed with a fairly sharp roundout. Very nice jet though! I'm saving my spare change to step up to one of these.

Well, I never tried anything but servo-less R/C... Where ya set up a descent-rate & nudge it to stay in the slot. If he flares with the Elevators just before touchdown, the Tricycle undercart will do the rest. Maybe more power & a higher nose-angle, but he was dutch-rolling & tip stalling. Try adding a degree of dihedral, or gyro roll- stabiliser. Now, for a giggle, search 'solar thermal ramjet', & see NASA riding backseat to a Hillbilly.. Open Source, enjoy. Ciao !

Ouch, a little tip stall action going on there. I notice that you don't have a dogtooth on your wings like the full-scale F-18 does, which probably would have prevented this crash. Still, I have to agree with the comment below mine here, just a few cuts and scrapes, certainly nothing that can't be fixed up. Beautiful model.
