It is fitting Eric Clapton's music is being played. He was a 'Warbabe' too. His father. a WW2 Canadian soldier, abandoned him. My father was WW2 US Army stationed in England June 1944.
Why should anyone with dark skin be looked down upon? I never understood that. I think dark skin is beautiful. But, then maybe I'm biased.. since I am Black. :D
I'm half Vietnamese and half American but I'm lucky because I was born in the United States but my older brother and sister are Amerasian too but were born in Vietnam. My parents stayed loyal to each other and reunited in 1980. It always makes me sad to hear stories about how Amerasians were and in some cases are still treated (whatever doesn't kill us makes us stronger.)
