@691dp yeah its ok but its just flooded a lot but i really live in reading i just say philly cuz its the closest big city that people from out of state would know so yeah right now with the rains in reading its much much worse with the flooding than the hurricane
One day it rained 2 inches in my hometown on the California Coast.. 22 people died, 10 of them, includeing kids, in just one mudslide We didn't have any warning at all. 7 years later we had a 6,9 earthquake centering very close to the loss of the 10 people. To the south, California also has fires.
Hurricane Irene hit the same time that Super-Typhoon Mina (nanmadol) hit the Philippines, which was much stronger than Irene. Mina was packing winds 100-120 mph. But 16 only died, 61,000 evacuated in the PH while 29 Americans died and 2 million ordered evacuated for Irene. There must be something really wrong with the US why a 3rd world country like the PH can manage a stronger typhoon better. The people who die here are usually poor people who drown in the floods or get buried in landslides
Our thoughts are going out to those effected from Hurricane Irene on the East Coast. With 90 mile an hour winds, I'm sure that many will be effected from flooding or damage to their homes and vehicles.
My eyes are open, I can see it blow in the wind, with my eyes closed and not physical, I feel it beating across my skin, means the realist thing is the unseen, you want 2 “CLICK MY NAME” 2 know what I mean, it is no secret for I HAVE FOUND IT!
n December 24 at 8:00 in the morning a young 14 year old boy by the name of Scott Johnson was found dead.Doctors couldn't come up with the cause of his death. His mother cecked his emails to see if she could figure out what happened.Turns out he was still signed into myspace. She found he had gone to sleep after he read and didn't repost a chain letter. If you don't repost this to six videos a girl with no face will kill you tonight. so sorry i'm getting scared
lots of the people who evacuated came to quebec canada lool saturday every 2 minutes i was seeying a car from the usa espacially from new york and new jersey, they got lucky that nothing serious happened here, only rain and wind
all they are concerned about is NY, seriously new york got lucky the damage was nowhere near what was expected. But for other states who actually got hit pretty bad and actually have damage that's fucking stranding people, no they don't report that. geez
@MrTacticalHewitt ok, i checked 3 videos now and you posted same shit on each video. Im gonna let you know that your not funny so maybe you can stop posting racist comments on youtube and making yourself look like a twat. Oh and im not black so dont think i took offence loser.
I'm getting tired of hearing about Hurricane Irene. Especially when they keep saying what it did to some fucking NYC. Like it didn't hit no other city...Irene hit about 12 states in the NE. Irene also hit Philadelphia, Washington DC, Boston and other city and states. They keep bring up NYC.
@fuckshitbrett Several people don't get killed purely because of just a rainy day. It may seem like just a rainy day in many places but when trees start to fall on houses and debris begins to fly midair to hit and kill people, it becomes more than 'just a rainy day'.
It seems that "paranoid" Americans are looking for an adventure. If they really want to see a real adventure, they should remember what they have done to Middle East and North Africa and Southeast Asia. They will find many stuff to think on it.
@phyron04 its not paranoid its being safe. if we didnt do this then you would be like oh stupid america thinks too big of them self that they didnt prepare themselves for a natural disaster
I think since Irene went from a Cat 3 to a Cat 1 and was heading north into cooler waters and since the eye was predicted to hit directly over land maybe they should have had some idea that there wouldn't be large losses of lives. It would be different if it was in the hot gulf waters or the caribbean were it could regain its strength or become stronger. Big Flop !!!!!
The news media is the real catastrophe... ... After living thru floods, storms, etc... I say, "It's gonna rain, wind is going to blow, gonna be some wet feet, cars, buildings, basements. " Chances are, if you are reading this, you're dry, have had enough food, and are reasonably comfortable.
Now.. "get the *ell off the beach!" Duh.. common senses folks.. Just common sense.
