Well, during the 6th century part of Slaves from northeast fleed entire Balkan, mixing with ancient people there. To these todays Macedonians ancestors were mostly Slavics like to Croatians, etc. But todays Greeks also doesn't have such a boundage with Hellenics couse big influence Slavics and other made on entire Balkan by mixing with ancients.
