John really held the group back a lot too. Jams like Keep On Chooglin' and Ramble Tamble should have been expanded into group credited improvs. It was also John that wanted CCR left off the Woodstock movie. Blue Ridge Rangers should have been a Creedence album - it would have sold better, been recorded quicker, and had a lot more musicianship/dynamic to it. Several missed opportunities there in my opinion . . .
@LZProjects Of COURSE he is a member of the band and he DOES have the right to speak but John would've prefered no one speak for the band other than him(John).
I know they were only a portion of the 60s, but they were one of the best bands of the 60s. Ranks, 1. The Beatles, 2. The Kinks, 3. The Who, 4. The Beach Boys, 5. CCR, 6. 1960s Motown
@carlosesperanzo Yeah, Im not a big fan of Clapton/Cream but they definitly make a top 30 rank of greatest 60s artists. I even think the rolling stones were overrated.
@jamaral81 Okay you got right with the stones and by the way CCR rocks dude!!!XD but just from my point of viewe 1.Cream 2.CCR 3.Santana 4.Hendrix 5.Deep Purple 6.Sabbat 7.Led Zep and thats just what I think and nobody needs to agree with that if he don`t like this list !!!!!!XD
I love the bad but I think he was rude...thebdr

Love Creedence. "Proud Mary" was on our song sheet with my High School band
and still play it today! Played "Bad Moon Rising" a couple hours ago at a jam at the Livonia Inn in Livonia New York. Yeah!

thanks for uploading this rare footage. This shows that John Fogerty was the spokesman of the group - both verbally and singing.
