To see the great Ethel Mermann and her inter-action with the the muppets (which seem very human in their emotions, to me); says a lot about Mermann the survivor and steadfast troubidor. As Johnny Carson once stated: "Every play she appeared in was a success..." (Reagan's Innuaguarel Gala, 1981, quote). Ethel could relate with Fozzie, being discouraged, & perked him up.Peace
Wow with the lighting it almost looks like the end of the muppet movie. Except there's arguably much more talent in the room with Ethel. 100 + muppets simultaneously singing still couldn't hold a candle to her shows.
Keep your chin up, Fozzie. Always keep your sunny side up, okay? :)
