@mzrealm I have the original and the 12 inch version but this specific one is called the "Remake Edit", which was actually done in 2010 by Ms Project. There is not a single download link available on the net and is only available on iTunes and eMusic. I've already been searching for months on sources beyond the scope of Google's capability, will probably just buy the rare album that it's on. Thanks anyways.

I'd like to explain something. To me a remix is another version with the same artist singing (maybe a different way) and the music being different. A remake is a reinterpretation by a different singer and different musicians. A re-recording is the same artist going in studio later and recording another take of the singing of his (her) song. Like Madonna "Express Yourself" on CD isn't the same singing than the singing on the original vinyl, on CD it's a re-recording by Madonna some time later.

I have the 1983 12inches version on vinyl. The music here on this 7:20 version is almost identical, the voice is maybe a bit deeper, the beat just a little bit thicker. I like the "happy" bridge. I wouldn't say it's a remake, but a re-recording made very very near the 83 one and a real good recording. The sound here is super. Dolce Vita is good ! Thanks for this version and thanks for the video !+++

I like this updated version, all they did was enhance the sound a bit and avoided adding crap rapping as someone already said. Great song.
