What the hell is wrong with everyone? Why so many dislikes? I'm convinced that all the people who dislike this simply do because he looks like Jaco, making him a 'Jaco Clone'. If you're thinking like that, then everyone that puts a Jaco bass cover up is a Jaco clone to, we just don't look like Jaco. If it bothers you that much people, then minimize the window screen and just listen to the music. That's what you're supposed to be doing anyway.

This is just a brief video of some Jaco style riffs showing off this guy's thumbs, ok ? That's it. Nothing else to it. Ok ?

And yes, his thumbs do look like Jaco's. I have double-jointed thumbs too, but they're not nearly as long as as this guy's. Having such thumbs probably helped Jaco immensely as he crafted his unique sound. Ever see Ron Carter's fingers up close ? Super long and bony.

You should find your own sound, personality and clothing, or you're gonna end mad like jaco too, haha! and that's the bad part, believe me ...

Apart from that, try stickin' to some standard tune or harmony instead of playing by ear. Those 16th feel notes, like in punk jazz intro, are a kind of free style impro, too advanced to start with.

terluka's a dick. why is musical imitation in the sights of your ignorance cannon? how do you think jaco did what he did? by channeling others. into something unique and original yes, but without jerry jemmot, mingus, coltrane, etc... etc... to influence him, he never would have been what he was. not to mention playing three sets a night every night for most of his life. terluka, you wish you could suck jaco's dick and get some of that "god-given" talent that way.

it's just the fact that he's another Jaco clone, and Jaco hated the Jaco clones in the last few years of his life, because they were stealing his style and getting recognized for it. bassists should use their own style, not completely redo what's been done.
