My own little guide for tanks:

1.) Tanks have the ability to ZOOM IN for distances so if you think the target is too far away, you're obviously not zooming. Also, remember to aim above the target if the distance is a tad far to assure a hit.

2.) When using a tank, it might be a good idea to be an engineer in case of repairs or have someone on your squad be repairing you.

3.) Easily the most useful upgrade is the first one you get, IR smoke. Use it effectively and you'll be unstoppable.

Does angling your tank help deflect shots? Example, instead of having your tank your face directly at another enemy tank, you would turn your tank a few degrees to the left or right. *It would be similar to the World of Tanks mechanics

BF2 was the best (yeah it was better than any CoD). It was the only game I played back in the day when I only had a PC. Now have a 1/4 decent PC (Q6600 3GHz OC, 4GB DDR2 and 8800GTS) I don't update it for games anymore (note the 8800GTS). These days I play on one of two Xbox 360's and play mostly CoD. Hope DICE have done everything possible to make the 360 perform to its maximum potential. I know the teams will be smaller than PC.. shame really. Special Forces anyone? BF3: SF! when? March 2012?
