i loved the ABC Ghostbusters 2 promo. when i first saw this, i was excited the whole week until the movie played.

ABC Sunday Night movies were always the best, even if it were one of those made for tv type movies. sure isn't the same these days.

@evospain I once had this movie recorded on videotape and during the commercials, ABC promoted the 1992 Presidential Election. So it must have been in the year of '92. It also aired on WFAA-TV in Dallas/Fort Worth since it's also an affiliate of ABC. My guess is Ghostbusters aired before Ghostbusters II in 1991 because WFAA was covering the 1991 Persian Gulf War at the time as well. Those were good films from those days, but always better on ABC!!!

I remember watching both Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2 when them two both first aired on ABC. Before I saw the movies, I saw the cartoon of The Real Ghostbusters and it's popular spin-off of Slimer & The Real Ghostbusters. As for that Extreme Ghostbusters cartoon that came around years later, I didn't get into that one.

I've seen at I.M.D.B. that there was a Ghostbusters III listed for 2010, then changed it's release year for 2012.

If memoery serves, I saw one like this way back when in Florida when we where visiting our Aunt and Uncle. If this is the exact promo, it most definetly was 1991. I remember watching the 'Lost' episodes of the original Turtle series and Darkwing Duck

I remember watch this intro when i was in 3rd grade. It aired right after Lois And Clark.
