The slime actually peeled off quite easy. My mother only let me play in the basement with it. The slime went bad after a couple months, it liquified and molded, yuk.

I used to have one of those. but the slime got all over, much to my perants dismay.  i remeber getting it all over my figurines and it would not even come off. and the squishyness and smell of the slime he he takes me back.

I just like to say the word 'slime'. I enjoy places that reek of slime. The greatest part of Starwars is when Yoda says 'Mudhole? Slimy?' I enjoy when I have a cold and my nose produces its own slime. My favorite organisms are slime molds and slugs. My favorite movie character is Slimer from Ghostbusters. Slime is the greatest toy ever because you can't get it out of carpet. I wish Hordak would give me the recipe for slime. Slime, slime, slime.

Someone gave me this when I was four. There was thick, ugly shag carpeting in the house, my mother wouldn't let me use any slime.I COULD NOT USE THE SLIME THAT CAME WITH THE SLIME PIT. Improvising, gathered my He-Man army together positioned them one at a time under the slime-spout and attempted to cover them in my own drool and saliva- This was the scene my father walking into coming home from work- The look of utter disgust and shame has framed my relationship with him ever since.

I told my mother that I wanted that thing for christmas. Then she saw the commercial for it. Somehow I don't think she really appreciated the gloriousness of the whole slime concept. I ended up with star wars figures instead. Not a bad trade off.

This was one of the best commercials ever made for MOTU toys. I just wish more effort was put into getting the continuity correct. I mean there is slime on Spikor at one point and then none.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Between this toy which my neighbour had and the GhostBusters toy, the carpets would fall victim! Not only that, but the slime would harden on the action figures and be a bitch to get off.

Last week I went to a flea market and some old indian lady had a complete Slime Pit with every accessorie still intact in it's original box. All 5 manuals & warranty still in it's box too. The slime was open but it had never been played before. The pit itself is flawless. I asked her how much, she said, $1.00! I'm like a $1.00? She said yes, one dollar!... Now I'm a proud owner of the The Evil Horde Slime Pit in a complete box never played with before, for a simple BUCK!

This Evil Horde entrapment fortress was one of the best toys with slime accesories I hope Mattel has plans to return it in the future because it reminds me of how warriors get slimed and become a slave of The Evil Horde and so I can bought one.
