And i just did some more checking, that 4000 lbs charger with that mild mannered 318, its got 2.71 gears in the diff, so if i didnt love top speed so much id throw some 3.73 and a stall in her and whoop his stangs ass myself!!!! gna post a top speed run, then just may show him i can run 13s with him all Damn Day, lol Jerrys final thought!!!
@BlackVenomPictures I heard that!!!!! lmaoff!! Your roadrunner pull their stang on a trailer down the quarter in 9 flat lol lol, Many Thanks, Curt, Damn stang owners outnumber us but we stick together!! Hell yea! Mopar!!!
@gtdrummerdude I never bashed you once, you must be very young and very immature, i have the rite to post and to my opinion, if you dont like comments that merely state what a person thinks then maybe you shouldnt allow comments or simply hide them as spam, never once was i offensive to you, but since you feel i was, suck my ass you root smooching cum guzzling mommas boy with a pos joke ass mustang, go fk yourself punk!!!
@curtknows101 And it still can't even keep up with my nearly stock '92 Mustang convertible. The only mods the 'vert has are a truck intake, pulleys, and exhaust. Stock paper air filter, spare tire and jack still in the trunk goes into the 13s @ 100 mph. And my old car trapped 118 mph before I sold it. You are getting into a "speed battle" with the wrong person. Try base model Civic owners. Your cars are not fast at all, let's not mistake that.
@gtdrummerdude Mustang convertibles are for women, nuff said!!! you have an 800 dollar pos that gets less valuable and more worthless everyday, sorry for you!!!!! Never said my cars are fast, but run strong and start and drive everyday and get more attention than your run of the mill 92 mustang convertible!! Peace out
@gtdrummerdude Did you build your engine,?? Then your only a car buyer, you need to just go on because most of my friends on here build their cars, ok, we are men with jobs not parent riding fat kids ok sugar, go back to your room now and dont come back out till its time to eat!!!
@gtdrummerdude Damn you pissed me off then blocked me, lol lol, but you said i bashed you, sorry i hurt your feelings buttercup, i didnt bash you omg, lmaoff, i dont build race cars, i build old dodge muscle cars and support a family, and i dont bash on other brands or people, so if you should read this, good luck to you, im not a damn therapist, k buddy!!!!!!
@gtdrummerdude Now that you own mustangs you think you can shit on everyone else. his Charger may not be as fast as your 92, but who the hell cares? Mustangs are outplayed, every possible combination to a 5.0 has been done. Its boring. Ford Mustang owners are the equivalent of honda civic owners. Everyone has one, they run their mouth, and they think they are the fastest things on the road. Funny how you talk shit about honda owners when you are just like them. Enjoy your car and shut up!
Don't let the enforcement see you doing this stuff! >:((
I find it hard to believe a 73 would be much heavier than a 71-72, but the suspension is isolated, and different than the earlier cars. I have owned a 71, and 3 72s, so I am not 100% familiar with a 73. I did pull an 8-1/4" posi diff. out of one, as well as all the seats :)
@ChargerMiles007 Thankyou 8-D, Yea i would be walking lol, or riding in the back!!! Shes gna be setting up on stands for a month or two while i do the front end work and get her presentable, but i am glad with my engine build, it was a lot of work and not out to have to do that again for AWHILE!!!!!! will post some slides of her body ON resto as i go, i know what my truck runs in the quarter and just had to know, ya know!!! not shabby for a 318 i believe, good hearing from ya, 8-D Curt
Thanks for sending me the vid, I am so busy answering folks back, that I don't have much time to vid surf any more :(
My son had to do some front end work on his Charger, he actually ended up going to manual steering, since the car wanted to wander on the road, even after tightening up the box to specs. All the other jioints were new, so it was the box. It steers alot better now!
@ChargerMiles007 Hey charger, just above the steering box, dnt know all the correct part names, but theres a small square box on the steering shaft, it acts as a u-joint to connect shaft to box, its got a rubber gsket and a metal top crimped onto it, inside there are two metal plates that connect to shaft with pins kinda, those plates will fit two diff ways, only one way is correct and barely discernable but makes a huge diff it they arent installed correctly!!! just above steering box ok!!!
Yes, I know the connector you mean, I guess it is possible he got them in wrong, but I imagine he would have known about that. Hard to say though, sometimes the little stuff can mess us up!!!
do u know of the 73 anomaly how much dose ur 73 mopar weigh i had a 73 dart and it weigh 5000 lbs siting on the curb and my 69 dart only weighs 2800 it b\c in 73 most mopars were stamped out of 16 ga sheet metal insted of 18 ga it made the cars weigh almost a 1000 lbs than the prev. or after year cheeck it out BTW nice charger sounds good tooo =3-
@xoxoXoieoxox Wow didnt know that, gna chck it out tho, yea its a tank, you can lean over the fender and not worry about bending it, hell you can jump on the fender and not bend it, lmaoff, the second race was the fairest hit, beleive in that one you see how hard the charger pulls, im gna take it down and get it weighed, she ate to many muffins i beleive haha
@curtknows101 my 73 dart was that way u could clime all over it and not leave any dents my x-wife tryed to kik the shit out ove it with steel toes i just lafed at her (that made her mad hahah) =3-
@xoxoXoieoxox I drove both Chargers over the scales, the gold one, build date 9-73 wheighed in at 3700, the green one 3800 with build date 9-72, the funny thing is the green one feels 500 pounds lighter!!! at the time the green one was STOCK with spare tire and jack, time machine!! the heavier gold one, aluminum intake and headers, gold ones fenders feel thicker all over really, so maybe it only makes a couple hundred lb difference, dont know,, still checking it out 8-)
@curtknows101 huumm thats strange i know my 73 dodge dart weighd 4855 lbs b\c it still had the factory door tag and i tell u i have a 69 dodge dart demon and doing body work betwen thee two is night and day like u sed it realy haks a good hit to fix a dent in the 73 but the 69 works like normal metal good to hear from u =3-
@that70sshow89 Yea she does, wish he had turned around with the camera i fixin to come strolling by the first race, aand i do mean strolling, white van tho, prob was full of kids, so i wasnt gna get dangerous, they were over a hundred and i was more than that, Its a 318 40 over, 318 heads with 360 valves, lunati 262, hooker headers, eddy performer intake, holley 1850 600, msd billet and wires, i was way under timed and the carb needs float adjusted etc. not excuses just what it is 8-D
@that70sshow89 Got it timed now, and the the vacuum secondaries are coming in a lot sooner, the 2.91s arent gna help much on the zero to sixty but yea i will get a vid of that soon, have trouble getn her to hook, wants to spin the rear left real hard or both and pretty unpredictable, i was showing around 95 on the first run and the gps in the truck showed 107 so gna have to work that out, may do a 0 to a hundred by gps, but gna do some front end work and BRAKE WORK FIRST LOL, thankyou for postn
