  • Big, as usual, great video.

You cover the prospects that we give a damn about. These videos are awesome. Hope to see more prospect watches from you (Thomas Oosthuizen????).

  • @jorgekluney I'll put him on the list! :)

  • LOL whatever fool! atleast atleast i aint some Dan Rafael wannabe!!

  • @BigAmzz I know, you're a never-be.

  • @bigragu yeah man you are so right! im just so envious of someone like you who has made it in life. i can only dream of making boxing videos on youtube that get 2 thousand views where i can pose in a vest and gay cheap boxing gloves. YOU THE MAN BRO!

  • @BigAmzz And you the woman, girlie.

  • LOL! look at this poser standing there with his tank top and boxing gloves on trying to give tactical boxing advice! Have you even boxed before?

  • @BigAmzz so you subscribed to talk sh*t? I was hoping that someone so knowledgeable as yourself would have had some additional information to share with us. Please, enlighten us with your vast boxing knowledge for we are so unworthy to speak its name!

  • @BigAmzz Hey BigAmzz.... do this..... you go and make videos like this and let's see how many views and comments you get.

  • ismail silakh. aka black russian, will have cleverly for breakfast.

  • Quality breakdown, should be a good fight on Saturday. There Is a little bit of needle between the two fighters

  • @BIGFAGU... stop acting like ur the grand wizard of boxing... its obvious u google your information b4 you post a video.. stop looking over u notes during the video and tak about somethin u actually know about.. theres no way u boxed in ur life with that jelly belly.. GIVE UP BIGFAGU

  • @sartbimpson1 The only thing obvious is that you're a doucher. You wake up in the morning, drink a glass of envy and h8eraide, then troll the videos to spam them with juvinile and asinine comments.

  • @sartbimpson1 Big's videos regular traffic on youtube and he has alot of people that give a damn about what he says. As opposed to you.... you fucking barnacle.

  • i wanted to know what you think about nathan cleverlys next fight against karo murat there both undefeated

  • Another update, I hope Im not getting on your nerves br!!

The fight with undefeated prospect Murat fell through, but Cleverly WILL be facing Ngumbu on July 10th!

Not quite the fight I was looking forward to, Ngumbus last 2 fights were 8 rounders (wtf?) and he doesnt have the polish of Murat...Oh well

  • @araxis666 that fight is going ahead cleverly vs murat september 18th

  • @memzie1 oh wow! thats great news, its much more intruiging. I would love to see bigragu follow up on this...

  • dude i mentioned nathan cleverly to you a couple of months back, nice to see you sat up and took notice of him. cheers dude!

  • Like your videos man, new subscriber here. Visit the eastside training section some day.

  • Hey ragu, just thought you'd be interested in knowing...Your boy Nathan Cleverly is set to fight Karo Murat later this summer in an eliminator bout for the WBO title! Maybe you already know this, but if not...There ya go :-p

  • hey bigragu. i herd when you were younger you were a propper boxer..amatuer?

  • @adnanjalil I boxed amateur and sparred with pro's.

  • Can u plz do a video on Saul "canelo" Alvarez. He is only 19 years old. He will be fighting on the maywether vs mosley undercard.

  • great vid. what do you think of kevin mitchell? he's fighting katsidis, may 15th i think?! keep up the gud work

  • @mocoledoux check out my prediction vid on it! thank you for your time!

  • Nice vid. you'v obviously done your research and u know ur stuff which I like to see. u wern't bluffing ur way way through, u really knew this guys style. very wel done. I know you want to do guys not from UK aswell but I'd like to see a vid on Tyson Fury, Heavyweight 10-0 from England, UK and Martin Lindsay, Feather weight 16-0 from Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK.

  • @p4pamirvalero I will get to them eventually! Thank you for your input!

  • @p4pamirvalero duuude tyson fury blows balls....i mean the best punch ive ever seen him land was on himself. seriously search on youtube " tyson fury punches himself " shit is so funny

  • hey bigragu, can you do a prospect perspective on super featherweight carlos velazquez

  • joe calzaghe never had that much power

  • @corbil Before his hands went south he had good power.

  • good vid. lol u should get a job with the bbc!

  • @corbil If only they'd call!

  • yea cleverly along with kell brook are my big tips for the future of british boxing. once cleverly finishes his maths degree in the summer and he can apply 100% effort to boxing he will improve greatly,

  • @eddieboyd86 and I've got them in! Exciting to watch them in the future!

  • @bigragu yo bigragu who do you think would win in a fight between amir khan and marcos maidana? reply please. thanks

  • @bigragu Excellent analysis! I've noticed the same flaws myself. I think the kid has great natural ability/talent and he is only part-time so will have a lot of more time to address the these things in the gym after May.

  • @bigraguAlso, I agree with an earlier poster - Cleverly needs to swap Maths study with Studying the best fighters when he finished his degree and take the best from them - especially movement and defence. Hopkins and Mayweather are two of the best defensively and would suit Nathan's attributes best as they both one fights with their right hand alone, also Nathan best shot.

  • Comment removed

  • LZACEAHG @bigragu - both one fights - 'both won fights'. May be being slightly presumputious but I predicted on earlier Cleverly youtube video about 18 months back - this kid would be World Champion. I'm more convinced then ever of that and that he can go on to do big, big things as long as he works on his movement and defence.

  • Comment removed

  • LZACEAHG@ bigragu - Laat post (promise) Not just tighting up his defence but learning to fight defensively like Hopkins where he controls his opponents, takes their strengths away from them with movement and gets off himself without getting caught often or with big shots. I've seen Nathan improve this area of his game in the last fight and hope he really makes this a big part of his tool kit.

  • Yeah, he said boxing is still his 'hobby' until he finishes uni! His last fight was great. Can't wait to see what he's like when all of his energy is focused on the sport.

  • u the man raguu

  • @149homeboy thanks!

  • @mohogany77 Thank you for the great compliment!

  • Cleverly has a real chance to make it big in my opinion. If he keeps learning then he'll continue to improve as he steps up in class. He seems mentally strong while also being fairly grounded. He carries power with a variety of shots and thats a great trait to have. The faults you mention can be ironed out and I hope that will be the case as his career develops.

    Great video BigRagu!!!

  • @Shrimper07 thank you for your input!

  • nice video as always, thanks 4 the info.

  • @Inspecter1976 my pleasure!

  • just a few questions for bigragu. did you ever turn proffessional? if so what was your record? are there any of your fights up on youtube? and why didnt you carry on in the ring?

  • @Luke1268 unfortunatley I never turned pro. Sparred a lot of them but car accidents took me out of the game.

  • cleverly looks as so he has an ok future, i believe he has the abilty to beat cloud(IBF CHAMP) right now, i dont rate cloud at all lol he's abit to green 4 the likes of pascal and dawson just yet. warren should go after cloud imo.good points on cleverlys style and flaws.cleverle got some priceless experiance working with the calzaghes, enzo trained cleverly upon til bout two years ago.he's sparred over 1000 rnds with joe calzaghe.top class experiance, you just cant buy, the dudes a good prospect

  • @951thompsonn you are right. The experience from Sparring with Joe C is invaluable and couldn't be replicated anywhere in the world.

  • Woo! You look awesome BigRagu with the blue gloves :) I bet you're pretty strong you look hench!

  • @TheJennyZoo LOL! I try!

  • Do you think his coaches have spotted the problems you pointed out?

  • @doozerwelsh I hope so! If not, maybe they will see this video!

  • Nice! Gloves On!Great demo of what u see gd n what u see weak dat can be remedied in a boxer. Always putting up what is well worth watching your vid. Big Ups!

  • @miktoh thank you for the compliment!

  • Bigragu: Which weight class did you fight in?

  • @Scampern super heavy;)

  • @Scampern I fought the last year and a half at Lt. Heavyweight. Started at Super HW and worked my way down. That was rough!

  • Nice change of venue Mr Ragu

  • @cockole thanks!

  • nice video man

  • Very good video Ragu, good stuff.

I'm a big fan of Cleverly as a fighter, he's a very smart guy as his college stuff shows and you can see that in the ring. There are very few technical flaws (you pointed them out) but for the most part he is very sound.

His power seems to be getting better with every fight which is also good, he sat down on his punches and looked very heavy handed against Brancalion.

  • @gazmc06 yes he did! The punches he was throwing had some "feeling" behind them. I think his corner will improve on those "Problems" and he should be OK.

  • prospect: Drian Francisco...check him out bigragu

  • I guess they wouldn't be unknown prospects, but the cubans? esp guillermo rigondeaux? even tho he's 29 lol. man is so precise and talented.

  • @danhantheman I thought about them but Guillermo is a 2x Gold Medalist. I don't know if he could be considered a prospect. He should be a champ. Very few Gold medalists are unsuccessful. He won it TWICE! If he didn't win a title I would say he was a bust!

  • Robert Helenius

  • If he dont fix that quirky dropping of his hand you pointed out he'll be shark bait for a lefty!!! Ever been a boxing coach for young wanna-be fighters? I think you could really be good at it.

  • @bigcasinofrumreno I coached amateurs for a couple of years and I was the Head Coach for the US Army Boxing Team-Korea in 94-95'. I am waiting to get my schooling out of the way so I can start coaching again. Thank you for the compliment!

  • i also rate cleverly very much. he is a very clever modest guy, who takes it one step at a time. he is young and fresh too, when his metabolism slows down, he will certainly be a cruiser weight or a heavyweight. his trainer has been debating when to call it a day these last few weeks, so the time for him now, between fights is watch other fighters, under roach, under steward, and see what style suits him best, and eventually move stateside.

  • been watching clervely on Friday fight night for the last few years, i think he has what it takes to be a world champ.

  • Nice Vid. I like Cleverly as a fighter. Thought you might want to know, he's not been too active as he's still in college. He's stated his plan is to step up after he graduates this summer. I hope to see him in world title eliminator soon.

  • were the gloves necessary?

  • @Balob37498 I thought they were a nice touch. They add to the realism that I am trying to project. I want people to see it as it would look on film and I don't know if just having my hands would put enough emphasis on it.

  • check out frankie gavin, he won a world am title, looks decent. i know if you look at billy joe saunders, degale, you will really go to town on them if your as honest as you always are lol.....gavin looks about the best of the young crop coming up.

  • DAMN. heavyweight boxer!

  • @theinvalidvalid LOL! 256lbs right now!

  • u look gay with that shirt

  • What do you think about Vanes Martirosyan?

  • @Nhzharuthopar I'll check it out and get back with you!

  • Great work, your whole channels getting much more rounded thanks to these new vids. How about making some vids on boxers from history?

  • @antoniomilo thank you! I am trying to get it squared away!

  • tony jeffries is the uk's number 1 prospect in my opinion.

  • Damn Ragu I always thought you were fat sitting down but now I see it's mostly muscle :O .. You a damn beast!

  • @axelbowendale umm...thanks..I think... :)

  • Great vid as usual man. Cleverly's got potential no doubt about it.

I'd like to know what you think of Frankie Gavin, I think he's got something special.

  • @blaow69 too early to tell on Gavin, but I like how 5 of the 6 opponents had winning records. That's a start!

  • jeda ,, i heard that darren barker is good as well !! the main man on the british boxing info the drunkenmaster informs me!! also these up and comeing prospects ,,Mitchell/ Barker /Froch /Haye /Khan/ Monroe ,brook, bellew, saxton, heffron ,gavin)

  • Great vids Bigragu here's a couple of name's of UK boxers you might want to look at Kevin Mitchell 25 (not sure if he is classed as a prospect? James Degale (won gold in 2008, Beijing middle weight), Frankie Gavin (won world amateur championships in 2007), Billy Joe Saunders and George Groves. Let me know what you think?

  • @tomp231288 I did a break down on mitchell for his upcoming fight! The other guys are on the list! Thank you for the input!

  • james degale hes another british prospect

  • Comment removed

  • @CARLOS62B thanks!

  • i know clev an live 2 mlies away , due 2 the calzaghe camp training an vince cleverly tightening him up i really believe he is a real 'prospect' all u mentioned is spot on but vince knows this, trust, plus u got 2 appreciate he has been boxing part time putting his studies first after june look out nathan is the truth!

  • Great vid! love the new set up in the old basement gym there, nice!!

Picked up on his Cleverly's Counter right which i like. Maybe do George Groves and Billy Joe Saunders?

Id like you to do some maybe south american guys or something, as i've pretty limited knowlege in that area.

    Keep up the vids!!

  • @rybog03 South America you say? I'll look at a couple of the countries-Panama, Columbia, Guatemala....I know that is almost Central America! Well I think 2 of those actually are. But I know what you're saying! Thanks for the input!

  • Great work Big Ragu keep these gud vids comin can you do one on Guillermo Rigondeaux. Thanks Big Ragu

    PeAcE

  • @FNWO1REBORN will do! You just keep watching! Going to check him out now!

  • im lovin the now 'prospect perspective' big ragu great idea, keep up the good work :)

  • @jitrenice thank you! I just want to keep the boxing community informed as best I can!

  • I like this kid but theres just something about him that i just can't put my finger on ... looking forward to seeing more of him in the future

  • @aislingof81 He's going to college, seems clean cut, not sure about his taste in music though. His entrance music seemed a bit "Soft".

  • @bigragu Very clever guy it seems bigragu as he studies math ..... yup agreed on the music but hey to each his own !

  • These break-downs are EXCELLENT. lovin' your stuff as usual Ragu!

  • @eightwillwontcannot Glad you enjoy them!

  • great vid bro! one dude i would love your take on is Kell Brook, he is goin place i think but would love your views!

  • @youwhatpal He was my first "Prospect Perspective" fighter! Check out the vid!

  • musta missed that one will check it out dude!

  • I liked the video. The new style is great.

  • @john6times thanks!

  • We need more of this type of breakdowns from you, before the fights. I love to get your PERSPECTIVE on stregnths and weaknesses on your perdiction videos.

  • @c22dividedby7 More of the visual? Instead of just talking to the camera? Thank you for the comment!

  • That's some really good reporting man!

Really clear, concise and demonstrating his pros/cons by showing the punches. Awesome, keep it up.

I really like the Prospect feature, altough I never know the guys you are talking about. Well, I guess that's the point.

  • @BrotherofWill You've got the point!

  • Another good vid you should take a look at Rendall Munroe he's a very enjoyable fighter to watch

  • @TheHitmanKev I'll check him out!

  • he reminds me of hatton, loves to fight in the inside and get his opponents against the ropes and hook to the body!

  • @TheHitmanKev Munroe is a bit old to be a "Prospect" though. At 29 he should be in the prime of his career. I want to focus on the 24 and under crowd. But when Rendall has a big fight I'll do a breakdown and prediction for it! Fair enough?

  • cheers man for makin this vid :)

  • @charliewgooner you are more than welcome!

  • u should do a prospect prospective on John Murray the guy Amir khan avoided at lightweight. He will be fighting for the european lightweight title soon he has been fairly inactive recently due to his promoter not getting a tv deal

  • Sweet. I like the demonstrations!

  • @alfred0vega cool! glad you enjoyed it!

  • dude that was top-notch reporting bro

    5 stars.

  • @odin422 Thank you! It means a lot!

  • @bigragu i never bullshit, this is a great series.
