I just went from a Sophie Tucker video of "One of these days" and "My Yiddishe Mamma" to this Spektor video. I love Regina, this is i a style that suits her extremely well. But then again, she'd be good in the 20's,40's, 60',s or 2050. She's amazing, and the fact that her voice seems to span eras of music is a testament to talent.

Everything from her pronunciation to her vabrato (sp?) are altered to suit the era. Regina's really something special, the way she can so completely apply herself to a piece.

Still, she maintains her distinctive style, but that does nothing to compromise the whole of the performance.

She is wonderful and the song is wonderful but the instrumental needs updating and DeFalco Music Factory can do it and still keep the charm but increase the profitability by targeting 2011's demographics.
