  • Travis, you are too cool. Thanks so much for the valuable tips on linking in the Squidoo text modules. You ended hours of frustration with you clear excellent advice.

  • Thanks, Travis! This rocks! I could figure out the HTML & get it done, but this method is easy and I don't have to worry about typos or constructing & copying from a template.

  • Hey Travis

  • Well it worked for bolding and italics but not for linking. Has anyone else tried this and what has been your experience.

  • Thanks for the help Travis, great short video, gets right to the point and solves a very common problem facing many people. Keep up the great work!

  • Many thanks for this Travis. I actually had this problem a few weeks ago and had to battle with the codes myself. After this video it's going to be so much easier when I create my other lenses.

  • Hey, Travis. That was really nice of you explaining that. However, I would really advise you guys to learn some basic html, especially the stuff you use all the time like bold and linking, italics and such. You can find the stuff anywhere just by looking in Google. Once you do it enough, it will become second nature.

It will also come in handy when you move from doing lens and Hubpages to building your own websites because you have know what the code looks like to alter the template.

  • Wow, thanks. You are one of the few You Tube videos that knows how to explain how to do quite well. Thanks so much. You are an awesome teacher!

  • Hello Mr.Travis

I am a member of your mailing list, and i am just happy about it, you are sharing us this completely great technic and ideas, like this video, this is a really informative video this is really great. marketing online is hard without money or website, i don't have a website. Mr. travis, your bum marketing method proved that you can start making money without a website. thanks a lot for doing this.

    God bless you,

    Aulliver

  • Bum marketing is great. I still use it, even though I recently launched my own site, which was a lot easier than I thought, by the way. Bum marketing is great for when you just find a long tail keyword with no competition and want to get indexed in Google really quickly.

Before now, I didn't realize how much longer it took to get website pages indexed in Google than using an article site. It takes a hot minute (i.e. a long time), and you have to use some different methods to get indexed.

  • Hey Travis, really really great tip. Thanks a bunch.

  • Travis, thanks for a great tip. I have a number of Squidoo lenses. On several of them I have left off things I would like to include because of the complications of the formatting. You have presented such an obvious solution that has somehow eluded me for some time.

Thanks for the post. Now I am off to read the lens you used as the example in the video and to give it a vote.

  • Thank you so much, Travis! This will save me a ton of time!

  • Hey Travis. This is sort of video you just don't see often enough - where someone says, "If you're wondering how to do X, this is how..." then show how.

Usually, free vids are so full of hard sell that they aren't worth watching.

    Good vid (and thanks)

  • Hey Travis, thanks a bunch for the great tip!
