Keep up the good work ...The great thing about the Clapton solo is the vibrato...You need to work on that...its all about the vibrato but the rest of it I enjoyed
Really well played, now just try to add more feeling to it! After all it's blues, even Clapton himself said that feeling is the most important thing :)
It's probably hard to play something that hard with extra feeling though if hitting the notes is problematic enough,(who am I to say anyways I can only manage the beginning ;)
Bravo! I thought you were great. Fantastic job. I consider Crossroads to have the #1 guitar solo of all time and you nailed it. Very impressive. Keep up the great work.
Pretty good execution. Just think how much faster you could be with up and down or even circular picking. Looks like you are using down strokes and pull offs. Hey paisan, whatever way you can get it done. Damn, dude, you pinkie is huge! That is a major advantage in playing the guitfiddle. Take a look at Greg Howe's pinkie, kinda the same. Well good luck and good licks! Johnny
You need to learn how to incorporate up strokes into your picking pattern, rather than strictly down strokes. Also, play with some feeling, man. Simply knowing the right notes to play is not enough.
you earned the 2nd solo. its very fast do you now have some variations initialised threw learning this second solo. i for one keep parts from such solos for my own improvisations, new licks and combinations, inspiration, delicacy.
FUCK! That's some good playing dude. That's considered the best live solo in history. Good goin'. If you could, please keep this video 'cause I'm trying to learn the song. I got the first solo down but still need to work on the second one. Anyway, once again, good playin'.
Yea and the neck has no binding (that's a bit odd) so you can tell it's not a gibby... anyway with such great skills I wonder why not switching to an other axe then. :)
thank YOU nice playin but the guitar sounds like shit man way too much distortion why drown out the natural depth of those humbuckers in a wall of fuzz and shit plus roll back that tone knob homie it could use some "woman tone" ya know what im sayin??/
who the fuck cares if his guitar doesn't sound exactly to your preference? the man can PLAY!!! I have been playing for almost 5 years and i can't even remotely play that well. Good job ftyfty123!!
well now "nyggerkiller" you would know about the blues now wouldnt you, an african american art form....if you are really only 20 years old thats extremely sad that you're so ignorant and racist im 21 and i consider myself a man of peace but if i ever met you id slit your fucking hillbilly throat ear to ear do us all a favour and just take your E string and hang yourself right now
see there you go again why would you use that word you know obama is gunna win and your beloved commander in chief, the president of the united states, will be a black guy and you'll still be pig shit
Grow up. You don't have to be black to play the blues either. If that was the case, then it would not be right for blacks to be in America because white people were here before blacks. I am not trying to be an ass, but when you call someone out on being racist, while your being racist yourself, it just gets annoying. And your the reason black people get a bad rap for being violent. Your going to kill someone over a youtube name. LOL. LOL.
dude, you defenitely need your ears checked mr. musician. The overdrive/distortion sounds fine. The treble pickup for SG's is more "scratchy" than the Les Paul, plus it could be an epiphone not a gibson. He sounds pretty good homie. Know what I'm sayin bra
couple off spots and you gotta work on the main riff,

To be quite fair, it is almost impossible to get the liquid flow of an inspired EC-when he was full on. (Even for EC)
Also just hearing the naked lead guitar-you are bound to hear even fretsqueak overtone. I give you top marks-Keep it up.
