  • ah just love it

  • Sudama was going to meet his childhood friend- Lord Krishna. What love and honor

  • These really are songs 2 be remembered!!!

  • I listened to this song when I was a child. Waited very sunday morning to hear it. I am happy his children are singing, Thanks to Moen and shayam Mohammed for bringing us these tunes over radio trinidad. I can still hear Shayam saying : Shabash Beta "

How sweet his voice is/was..... Such conviction !

  • what a f#*kin shame..no TOOLOOM DINDIAL ON YOUTUBE BUT THERE'S A MILLION CHUTNEY SONGS

  • Well it's about time. Absolutely exquisite.

  • Well it's about time. Thanks for the upload.

  • Isaac is arguably the best classical atrtiste of his genre. Mind you, this era of music generated some of the most respectable and talented musicians that Trinidad ,and by extension the West Indies, have ever produced. I was born the same year Isaac died but I truly understand and admire the finesse of this quintessential singing superstar. Long live the name Isaac Yankaran and long live the culture which he lived and died for.

  • majestic!

  • What a wonderful voice. How effortlessly he sings the soulful bhajan in chachar & kaharwa taal . Excellent stuff.........IY is no more but may his musical inspiration live forever, God bless his soul !

  • I am from Guyana and I have to agree that my trini brothers are the best musicians among our indians this side of the equator

  • how old r u

  • All the players in this music have passed on. Isaac Yankaran, Balroop Mungal, Moean Mohammed, Valentine Tex Surajdeen and Maestro Harry Mahabir.

  • @DSaltsMan

I think Nasaloo Ramaya is still live. Heplayed the violin.

  • doh start dis trinidad guyana sheit b4 it turn into india pakistan!

  • @avinashgm GOOD ANSWER FOR THE FOOL THAT PLUCKING YOUR BRAIN I LOVE IT

  • listen my trini bro and sis we have had a chance to see heaven on earth when our culture was governed by the founders of these men just enjoy please all the jump and wave well u know what i mean

  • Yankaran was beaten in a competiion in Trinidad by Guyanese Mr Ramdani so how can he be the best,Ramdani is the caribbean greatest dholak ,harmonium and singer, put that in your book,ok.

  • Who was/were the judge(s) of that Competion.??? Why dont post a song by that Gayanese Mr Ramdani and let the world be judge

How come we never heard of Mr Ramdani (gayanese)

  • @MrJairam1 well instead of comming on here and bashing issac saying Ramdaani was better than issac put his music up issac has a golden voice and style and class ramdani was nice dont get me wrong but issac yankran had respect from all over the world from india to canada he was a great man and his legacy literally lives on!

  • Sir , I think you have it all Mixed up. I did not Say that. Please read the comments again to clarify. By the way I just posted some new song of Mr. Yankarran. I have never heard Mr, Ramdaani sing.

  • @ViisiioNzProduction Because some judges tell you something is good you believe them? It must be sad you don't think for yourself

  • the greatest.. check the guiness world book of records. big ups to all my trini peoples!!! jai shri krishna

  • the reason why i ask because i live in suriname but love bhaitak ghana please let me know

  • he was truly the best singer in t&t i know his songs and songs from sham can you inform me how to get those cd's of him, or records

  • good tune

  • wah wah kya awaz

There never was and would never be only one word to describe immortal

  • I am very proud to say that I've had the rare oppotunity to hear Mr. Yankarran sing this song "live" at his home in Brickfield ,Trinidad which also happen to have a Rare recording of the song before it was recorded for this LP.

  • This is one example of Mr Issac Yankarran at his best. His music not only is the gold standard for Tan/Classical/Local music of the West Indies, it defines Indo-Caribbean music at its peak before (in my personal opinion) its decline.

  • salute to the king isaac yankaran...his songs still bring water to my eyes

  • Does anyone know where I can find the lyrics to this bhajan?

  • A beautiful rendition by a true master of the classical artform

  • if as an indo trinidadian this song fails to stir up emotions of longing nad a battery of affection, then you need to get your head checked out. this performer died too yound and his contribution in his short life is priceless. this song is a good example of this assertion.

  • lol
