I love this friendly old 4 ident. I miss it like my nan - reminds me of innocence, harking back to days of yore where everything was right with the world, you've just had your hair washed got an hour or so of some TV show to watch, then up to bed with a kiss from mum and a seemingly endless night of absolute peace

A hell of a lot less annoying than the magic eye camera reveal bollocks they have before everything now. Pure classic design. Channel 4 is dragging its knuckles these days. Sad, it used to be a really challenging tv channel.

At least it is making a reference to the early C4 idents i.e. lots of flying blocks coming forming a "4". . . .better than the "circles" and "visual effects" idents . . .

It was a closedown. The menu at the beginning of the video and the black screen at the end seems to confirm that.

I've seen C4 do this somewhere else, on another C4 closedown on here somewhere. They had the closing announcement over the clock, then a menu rundown with the announcer, then the closing ident.
