just download LSMaker (google it) its free n u can use it to edit AVI files to put light sabres in. eg, u fight with a stick n put a light sabre blade over the stick in lsmaker. gd luck. its not a professional program but it does what it says on the tin lol

from what i understand in the movies, the jedi value the lightsaber just as much as anything else. the sith are just extreme bad asses, i suppose; the only significant difference between a sith and a jedi is the way they use their powers. i dont think the sith are all about battle, they are about personal gain, and i dont think the jedi put lightsaber training so low on their list of priorities.

We used After Effects. The sabers and lightning effects are actually the same effect within the program, you simply mess around with the settings. For choreography we did probably an hour or two of "practice", figuring out what basic moves we wanted to use. Then we basically just went through mini scene by scene and figured out exactly what we wanted to do. Check out my other videos to see some other work as well.

AE and Premiere rock, I thought the effects in your vid were really good. I started out with Photoshop then I learned AE and it's much better for video.

We used AfterEffects and Premier if I remember correctly. The saber effect is actually the same as the lightning effect, we just tweaked the settings of the effect to make it a narrow beam. We exported most of the sounds from various Star Wars video games.
