I have a question: when you color how to you avoid the problem of drawing one line using a marker and then drawing another line that is right next to the first one and then there is a darker sliver where the two lines overlap? I noticed that was happening a lot while you were coloring the bow but not when you did the skin. Whenever I try to color with markers I always have the problem where my marker lines overlap and look really bad :( Can you do a tutorial on how to draw skin?

@08Z9 I can't really give you an answer on that since I have that problem too ;) But I think the highly blendable markers (alcohol based ones) can make it not as noticeable. Also, I hear coloring in circles instead of lines (like how I do it) makes it not so noticeable.

why do you color the bow one color and then cover over it with another one?

what type of paper are you using?

@itastetherainbow123 I was using Strathmore Smooth Bristol 9" x 12" (though I cut it in half so it's really not 9" x 12" :P)

@Zuuzuulife I did this nose on purpose. It didn't look right with how I usually draw noses plus it's a commission for someone I don't know (for a friend of a friend) and I didn't want to freak her out with my weird noses :P But when I drew this I felt like I was betraying myself, so I don't plan on doing that again
