Good to Read that you consider traveling to India, I'd really be looking forward to your vids (trains, planes, cars and so on). Besides, I think I am to cowardous to go there by myself, if we're lucky we will raise enough money to travel to the German Baltic Sea ;-)
Great compilation: Thanks for giving my the idea to watch Indian train videos. Considering the difficulties in Japan, would you like to go to Indian to film trains in the near future?
OMG ! amazing compilation !! :D great work buddy ..... ! BTW are all these videos yours or taken from others ? just asking ...... :) anyways great ! goes into my favourates
Just thought I would add this video is definately being added to my ' favourites'. Makes me want to go to India to get some great photos and video. Those sounds gave me goosebumps.
I thank those guys and you for making a facinating compilation. I have never given much thought to Indian railways, but the video here is fantastic. Love the sound of the ALCO's. Indonesia is the only country that I know of that still has plenty of them left. I guess there are still some running around in Australia. I am an expat aussie in the UK now. Nothing like that in this country.
That was fascinating! I am so naive about Indian Railways. I was curious about all the smokey diesels. It reminded me of the Alcos long since retired here in the U.S. I looked it up in Jane's and was surprised to learn that Alco engines are fairly common in India. The modern GE's we have here just don't compare to the sight and sound of an Alco!
@Willowfs4472 These are shot at stations where there are often staff on the platform also holding a green flag so I'm guessing it's something to do with getting a roll by check. Maybe one of our Indian viewers can be more specific.

Awesome! Lovely compilation that will hopefully prove to most people that India is not all about crowded local trains with people on the roofs. :D
