I think they've all been on the sauce. Apart from Henry Kelly. No wonder England didn't get through a qualification group for a world cup in the 1970's (remember 1970 we qualified as champions). The culture of drinking was only really tackled by Alex Fergurson...and he reaped the rewards. His young teams were the first to have no culture of drinking whatsoever.

well seeng as Greaves was semi-retired by 1970, & Best & Denis Law are irish & scottish respectively, I dont think u can lay any blame at their doorsteps for englands failure throughout the 1970's...i would blame the FA for firstly for hanging on 2 sir Alf for too long, & then for appointing Don Revie instead of Brian Clough....
