I am glad that you are learning sign language and that you are telling your story. I do hope they aren't teaching you to sim-com (sign and talk at the same time) and that they are teaching you true ASL and not ASL signs in English order.

Regardless, I'm looking for the sign used by transgendered, Deaf folks. The sign you are using is not the one I'm familiar with, but am looking at as many vids as possible to get the most appropriate sign for those in that particular community.
