I think it's like this: TheAmazingAtheist is TJ, the "in your face" asshole (who we all enjoy watching, don't get me wrong), whereas TJdoeslife is TJ, the mellow, seemingly more thoughtful individual who we also enjoy watching. Mostly the difference I notice between these channels is one of mood, and I think it's a useful one.
