No, just a bunch of morons (sorry, but it's true) who think a backwards pass that is not caught means the play is over. It's a fumble.

Note that even though every Husker thought the play was dead, including this announcer, Mike Tirico from ESPN (see some of the other versions of this video) correctly realized the play was still live (even though the ESPN graphic also switched to "FINAL".)

The Michigan players with the ball should have tried to run through the Nebraska players coming onto the field. Each contact would have been a personal foul for 15 yards tacked onto the end of the run. The extra players on the field would have offset (BTW, the announcer was WAY off...the play wasn't over when the "pass" was dropped [that'd be a fumble])

Actually I agree that Hart should have run through them because it's not a 15 yard penalty, it's a touchdown! I don't expect Hart to think of that on the field though, Nebraska should have been stripped of that win, it was complete bullshit that they can run on and essentially take away half the field and nothing happens to them.
