@tiwapo you should try playing by ear, thats what i do all the time...it works for me, and if you do it a lot it may work out well for you. you should take a peak at my channel and go to "Piano Recital", thats me playing a piece that i have developed throughout the years, well months really, developed it by ear...well i hope you take a look, farewell my friend;)

By the way, Ungeniusman, just because a piece is a duet it does not mean that it is impossible for one person to play. Art Tatum, when he was a child, learn to play many duets by himself, and since he was learning from a piano roll he did not realize that they were duets.

The melody seems similar to the song "These are a Few of My Favorite Things". You can almost sing that song over this composition. I wonder if that song was improvised upon for this piece or at least an inspiration

So everyone knows, it is impossible to actually play the Magic Waltz, as well as most of the music from that movie. Most of it is actually played with two people. Which is why one of the songs is called "Study for Three Hands."

You turd, it's not the whole song. In order to do that, they cut out certain parts. It is physically impossible to actually play most of the music. No one person can play a note in the 2nd, 4th and 6th octaves at once. Which is what the song calls for, a lot. A lot of high flourishes in the original occur when you can still obviously hear two hands in the lower octaves. For the one-person version, they made alterations to correct. Don't be so snooty, booty.

Ok, so first off obviously this isn't the easiest song in the world but on a scale of 1-10 this would probably have to be a 5 or 6...

To improve you could probably pick up the tempo, also move up to the more advanced version because from what I'm hearing, your piece is definitely simplified.
