  • Hi mate, I have bought a behringer c1 condenser mic which requires phantom power. So if I buy this MIC100 will it allow me to connect mic to it, then straight from MIC100 to PC? Or does it require another hardware such as mixer?

  • i need some help. i just bought this, but i don't know how can i connect this to pc... is it a xlr-minijack, or a jack-usb, or maybe jack-minijack? can someone help me?

  • @NovoSomProducoes xlr-jack/minijack

  • @sounddoesmatter Where did you get the XLR Female to the little jack that you can plug into like a headphone jack, and what is it called?

  • @SpreadLoveLikeSex I got it with Sennheiser microphone. But you can buy the same at any audioshop or even ebay (just tipe xlr-mini jack) Have a great day!

  • u should include your song in this video..

  • is the sound card in the front of your computer, on the headphone jack? please get back to me

  • and does the power supply connector need a cord?

  • can i use headphones on it. so i can hear the soun d while im recording? please get back to me

  • Hi, I have a question: Can I use a 48V power supply for condenser microphone connected to the 3.5mm jack?

  • does it come with cables or do i have to buy them, !

  • @deathschuck no, it doesn't...You'll have to buy the cables

  • @sounddoesmatter alright thnx man

  • I got a question. @sounddoesmatter

I got a soundcard with phantom power though i get some nasty results with me condeser mic.

If by any means i buy this preamp , will i have any good changes with how my mic sounds or this device is just to give volume?

Whats the deal with tube amps i dont get it...

    Can you enlight me someone?

  • Do you get phantom power for the 1/4" input aswell?

  • shortly, I will be buying the behringer c3 I think... will I need preamp? And for the condenser, pop screen filter, mic stand and preamp.. rough estimate cost?

  • BEHRINGER=GERMAN SHIT

  • @danielstrawich if you are starting an audio project its good dude , but if you are in a pro studio , your going to feel that is shitty ...

  • @pinchimike All but all BEHRINGER products are copies of good products, the brand BEHRINGER has a large catalog ranging from home audio up to dj and cars, all copy. I have my studies if they are professionals, does not compare to teams like alesis example, tc, electronics, Art, motu, and many more. The BEHRINGER products are ordered because they are low cost. You do not take offense, just my comment.TNX

  • @danielstrawich i agree

  • wat if i have the usb one what kan i do? because it has barely any volume. please answer asap anyone thanx

  • @Travieso209925 its not for USB.. USB microphone don't need no preamp

  • do not waste time buying this rubbish, then bought a PreSonus Eureka, it's 1000 note, this one is rubbish!

  • I bought another one, and regretted it, burned the valve after using about 15 times, worst of all I had to make the switch from the valve, but only after a few months a friend of mine told me that I should have bought a Russian valve because s has compared the quality that comes from original manufactures, which are manufactured in China. behringer conclusion is the same crap, it would be best PreSonus tube

  • do i have to connect the jack in a line input of my soundcard?

  • Thanks for the video.. Might buy one.

  • Can I connect this to an audio interface??

  • Do LEDs show signal strenght after gain or after output?

  • 15000 views! Thank you!

  • What kind of Adaptor does it use? I lost the one I had for mine.

  • Can I use it with a XLR input and a jack output? Or do I need to buy the cable you use? (XLR to jack)

  • @MalamuteBewondert Hi! Yes you can use XLR as input and Jack as output!

  • @MalamuteBewondert Thanks for asking this, I had the exact same question and you saved me time :)

  • Quite useful introduction to the unit but you might have confused newbies when you put the wrong annotations on the XLR cable connections. I'm sure you know really but just in case: the male has the sticky-out bits and the female has the holes...just like people. ;-))

  • @BikahJoe uh, yeah)...I noticed it after downloaded the video, but I think people should understand this correctly ) or I will change it with annotations, thank you for your attention!

  • @sounddoesmatter hello , i can use it for recording a guitar? or just for voice

  • @pinchimike this is just for voice u know

  • Thanks! All the info I needed.

  • great video - got one myself (plus the C1 mic) and they are quite wonderful. It goes straight into my audio interface (Steinberg CI 1) and performs quite beautifully

  • @adphlash thank you for your comment!

  • i want to buy a berhinger c1 and i need this preamp (behringer mic100).Can this preamp be connected through my laptop's built in soundcard(mic in, 3.5 jack )? If not, what should i use?

    Please respond:D!

    Great video!

  • @thetwotimesone yes you can connect it to laptop's builtin soundcard (but builtin soundcards are usually low-quality). For Laptop, I'd recommend you to buy USB or FireWire Audio-Interface with phantom power.

    thank you for your comment!

  • i have a shure sm57 and im pluging it strait into the line in port on my pc, and this i think this is causing a very bad hissing sound even when i record nothing. will this stop or reduce the hissing?

  • @hipeas93 I'm not sure what is the reason of hissing, but it will help you to amplify the signal. I guess your input signal is too quiet, so when you normalize it - hissing appears. In that case - it will 100% help you. But I'd recomend you to use dynamic microphone with preamplifier anyway.

  • @hipeas93 you should get some interface device to get your mic signal into your pc. there are a lot of usb interface for that use.

  • from xlr to the sound card is it mono or stereo, please reply! thanks! great vid...

  • @lloydpopp13 It depends on cable. In my case it is Mono, but I converting it to the stereo (2channels L/R) in Cubase - not a problem!. But if you need a real "STEREO" you'll need a Stereo-Microphone or Stereo-Pair Microphones. Thank You! GoodLuck!

  • @sounddoesmatter thank you so much for replying!

  • whats a soundcard... can i just connect it to my pc and start recording...if not can i use the Behringer UCA202 Audio Interface????

  • @hassibt NO! you can't MIC100 is not Audio Interface! Its preamplifier!

Yes you can use Behringer UCA202 as audio interface(soundcard).

  • so without phantom powet i cant record ? :|

  • What is the title and artist of this song in the background?

  • @majkellica Ray Charles - What I'd Say

  • hello there sound does matter, thank you for doing this awesome review of the BEHRINGER MIC100. It's a sure thing many will learn from this video. We've subscribed to your channel to see more from you.

  • Phantom*

  • what the Fanthom power does ? :|

  • @emsirapkid Phantom power is required for some instruments which need a strong power supply. for example, condenser microphones.

  • Can i record with this thing?? I mean like Using a software and record with it?

  • @MushGeeksLite well MIC100 is preamplifier, you should connect it to your soundcard and sure you can record through it by using software like Cubase, Adobe Audition, etc

  • Does this come with all required wires?

and if not, what do I have to buy to connect my shure sm58 to my laptop?thnx:)

  • @IPraiseDesolation unfortunately, no. It comes only with Power Adaptor. To connect your SM58 all you need to do is to buy XLR Male-XLR Female wire (and connect your mic to MIC100 with it) and XLR Female-Jack (to connect MIC 100 to your soundcard) then just plug in power adaptor...

  • Not a useful review.

  • @Guitars4US sorry if it didn't helped you...

  • @sounddoesmatter i think this is a very good review. i just want to know about the limiter: does it limit the signal to what you set the output to or what?

  • @isreal95 thank you! limiter keeps your signal in normal range to eliminate the distortion...

  • thanks.. good job :))

  • @freeasgod thank you =)

  • and where is the audio test? mmm? you just put a background music? and no audio test of that? omg...

  • @Enufo sorry, there is no audio-test.. just overview...

  • dude thank you so much for posting this video.... ill never forget it. thank you.

  • @darinrios My pleasure man! thank you for your feed back!

  • how can i connect my co1u mic to the MIC100 preamp?

  • @YoungCaprice1992 Its USB Mic, so you can't connect it to the MIC100

  • ih, can you halp me? doe's it noise in background when do you use a condenser mic?? sorry my bad english i'm italian

  • @LucaRdj no there is no noise at the background...
