@kbplaya123 I´m afraid not :( It seem that I´ve tryed everythin but I hope I have wrong and that you do find a way to bring them back ;) if you do can you plz tell me how? ^_^
Is there any way of importing downloaded video filters, transitions or titles. I am very curious, because these get old and are quite simple. Please reply. I have sony vegas 9, but it's a bit to complicated to use....
The highest resolution it shoots in movie mode is 640x480 so the quality isn't going to be as good as HD, try a higher quality setting when you render for YouTube
The video clips are placed in the media library when you capture or transfer your video from your camera, the folder with the filters should open up and display in the media library when you select filters from the drop down menu, I'm not sure why it should be empty, try re-installing it might help
Hi, if you go to the media library, click on the drop down menu and choose a colour, drag and drop it to the time line at the start or the end of the video, you can then put a crossfade between the colour and the video to fade in or out
This was excellent. Thank you for taking the time to share this with us. I would like to buy a camcorder (Sanyo Xacti cg10)and it was suggested I get an editing program as well. I am a super novice as this will be my first time using a cam or software. After seeing this tutorial I am very confident I will do great. Keep up the good work and many thanks once again :)
@crystalstarrz Hi, thank you very much for the kind comments, I hope these tutorials inspire you to have a try at editing, it might seem complicated at first, but most editing programs are very similar in their layout, if you have any questions just ask, John :)
Hi, not quite sure what you mean by rewind effect, do you mean reverse the video? If you do you just place your video on the timeline and just above and to the right you will see two tabs, on the video tab just tick the reverse video box
Hi, I'm not quite sure what you mean by animate clips. You can put an overlay on top of your original video, so I suppose you could draw on top of the video. There is a painter program within the main program where you can do this
hi johnboy1uk, Ive had Corel video studio for about 10 months now. Its a great tool for video editing. I uploaded a recent video using corel studio, thought you might like to view it. Regards timroy4
Nice tutorial. I've had Video Studio Pro X2 for awhile but I never realized there were film-like filters in it.
I was debating getting Pinnacle studio ultimate (because of magic bullet) but I've heard you gotta pay for those plugins and the software itself crashes alot.
I think I'll stick with Corel (which thankfully isn't a resource hog).
Thanks, and yes there are more expensive programs, but for YouTube it's ideal. The other useful feature uses proxy files when editing HD content. Some of the more expensive programs do not have this feature. AVCHD can be very difficult edit but the proxy feature makes it a breeze
I think you would need to experiment quite a bit with the presets that come with Corel, I'm not sure there is a direct equivalent to the Magic Bullet effect. There are so many settings to adjust! The one I have used is the earth filter in the film fx plugin in the June Thunderstorm video which gives quite a good effect

Hi, you can download extra filter packs from the NewBlueFX site, these are the people that make the filters for Corel, but you have to pay for them!

stanrose2 2 years ago
@stanrose2 That's probably why your videos appear pixilated, what are your original files? Are they from a video camera?

what effects are in the newblue feature?
milleniumjazz 2 years ago
If you look at my other videos you will see one which demonstrates quite a few of the those filters
johnboy1uk 2 years ago
I'll ask again here.
I have 5 different clips, but shot in the same setting.
So I added 5 filters, adjusted them. It took a lot of work,
now I want those same 5 filters to the next clip and I found no way of copying those filters!!
Why why why not!! There must be a way, why wouldn't you want that option???
tomghzel 2 years ago
No mate, you can't do it, I've tried it myself, it would be a useful feature

Yes, you should be able to do this, you can edit any media in Corel Video Studio as long as it's compatible
