@FrapsYou As a YTSM that is our job to reply. First the DFDRs were changed by Airbus at the crash scene, at the inquiry the judge stated the DFDR presented to the court "was not the one from the plane". Because it was one from a manned plane to cover up the fact it was an unmanned plane.

@FrapsYou As a YTSM that is our job to reply. First the DFDRs were changed by Airbus at the crash scene, at the inquiry the judge stated the DFDR presented to the court "was not the one from the plane". Because it was one from a manned plane to cover up the fact it was an unmanned plane.

@bmwnasher i say delete fraps account on the spot, but its best to follow san bruno protocal. however if you want go delete fraps and i'll turn a blind eye to it. i can reinstate his account in the if you top brass cracks down on us in the morning. i did the same with bayleaf a few years back. sometimes you need to give these trolls a bloody nose

Air France Flight 296 was a chartered flight of an Airbus A320 . On June 26, 1988. it was scheduled to fly low over Mulhouse-Habsheim Airport. it crashed into the tops of trees beyond the runway. The 2 pilots on board survived. 3 passengers died. Cause of the accident is disputed .
The common misconception of Air France 296 being an unmanned plane flown by a computer was created after TLC released a show without researching the crash appropriately . It certainly was a manned flight

Sunday June 26, 1988, the airclub at Mulhouse-Habsheim in Alsace/France had organized with Air France a low approach of a brand new Airbus A320 in landing configuration. Michel Asseline was the pilot in command of F-GFKC, Pierre Mazière was his first officer, when the aircraft overflew the airfield at 2 pm in sunny weather. seconds later the aircraft touched the tops of the trees behind the runway and crashed into a forest. 3 passengers died in the accident and about 50 injured.
