  • i like the tease music in the beginning

  • In This Clip, From 2:16 To 2:26, It Was KCRA-TV's Did You Know? Video ID From October 1987.

  • In This Clip, From 2:27 To 3:14, It Was KCRA-TV's Channel 3 Reports At 8:10 Video Open From Tuesday Night, October 6, 1987.

  • This used to be a great station during this era. Sad to see what it has turned into... But yeah, I think that this was the news that I really remembered before the Hearst massacre that KCRA dealt more on it's news, weather and sports with passion. Nowadays they only care about making their ego's big and brag about how they are #1 and what made them become a big shot in news. This is the best!

  • Epic legendary news team right there. Miss them.

  • Great find...KCRA in its prime. That pre-show self-important bumper music never gets old .Didn't know Stan went through a bleached hair phase. And nice dry improv by Margaret...though Bette wasn't ready to get a real weather question.

  • Non-named versions like this one are quite rare (I imagine it was because of the NLCS in this case). And yes, "Where the News Comes First" was already being trademarked by the station.
