A lot of people say "Oh there's no shadow" but if you look at the shadows on the table you can see that it's hardly there in the first place due to careful placement. Note that the middle cup IS just a cup as it is getting shuffled around, and the other cups have very little shadow in the middle as well. Frankly you have to really be LOOKING for the trick if you're noticing that sort of thing, and that's not the point of entertainment if you ask me.

Anyone notice that the center cup never leaves a shadow except at 0:08, when his hand is casting one of the cup. The shadow was edited out on all the rest of the footage. Meaning that the pealing cup footage was actually a second take, notice that the cups change position when the "123" flashs up on the screen. He swapped the center cut for the peal cup. Also when he lifts up the other cups, he's very careful not to cast a shadow over the peal cup, that would give it away. There.

The cup is not replaced when the numbers pop up. At around :36, look at the right (your right) hand's shadow.  It doesn't go over the sticker, but under the cup.

@1amayzingman oh dude I know this is an old comment but I had to look for myself. Focus on the very right edge of the middle cup as the shadow passes over it and you will see the slightest distortion. A shadow was cast, but it was edited out, frame by frame
