  • I do this in my shower. I always do my nails before shower then when I'm showering I clean all the nail polishes out of my skin with my nails.

  • @maygeryang its def okay to do that but this tutorial is aimed towards people who need to get rid of the excess polish but needs to go out so no time to go shower :)

  • wow! amazing idea! i never thought that it could be so easy! thanks a lot for the vid! :)

  • @ulitaspace so glad that it helped!!!

  • it worked.. thanks :D

  • Ur fingers r creepy

  • Or u cld jst wait for it to dry and peel it off:p

  • you have long skinnny fingers:)

  • Don't listen to them, you have gorgeous fingers and nails ^^ Mine are stubby and small. Great tip!

  • @KittyKat3038 awww thanks so much! my friend also has smaller hands and she says longer nails really helps elongate them, maybe you can try :)

  • great idea!

  • I love you for making this!

  • Thank you for posting this.

    You have skinny fingers! :)

  • Wow I never knew this. This will definitely help me when doing my nails from now on. Thx

  • I never thought of that, awesome tip! I had heard that rinsing your nails after painting dried them faster, but I've never tried it.

  • U have ugly finger and nail

  • @SUPER2010JUNIORelf even if thats true, the point of this video is about teaching you guys a quick beauty trick not to show off the "beauty" of my hands :D

  • @SUPER2010JUNIORelf she actually has really nice nails, just saying.

  • Could you show us how to get small bits off? r will this work?(:

  • You keep saying access... it's EXCess...

  • you dont even have to do this right after you paint your nails. just do it after you shwer :D

  • @Iivelaughlovelust the problem with that is what if you have to go somewhere and dont have the chance to shower. yes showering is easy but its not very convenient but this u can do where ever and whenever :)

  • than you for the tip

  • Next time just soak your fingers in a bowl of water (reuse for all nails). Instead of wasting all that running water.

  • @MeaganMarie93 nice idea! conserve water :)

  • whoa this is so awesome, i wanna try this

  • Wow! Your fingers...

  • it works best with warm water btw.

  • @sukoori it comes off easier but i found that it also softens the nail polish on the nails as well which if u accidentally touch it, it will chip easier :)

  • @mlledebeaute haha really? i never noticed...cool. with SOME polishes when u wanna remove the whole hting u can just peel it off in warm water. pretty cool.

  • @sukoori maybe cuz ur good at it :) but personally i often make mistakes and accidentally touch the nail itself so if its softened by warm water, i'll make a hole in the nail polish.

u mean remove the polish on the nails? or peeling off the excess with just your hands? but if u meant the latter then yea i have found that some polishes are easier to do that but in case that doesnt work you can always try this :D

  • damn! got some some long ass fingers! but they're pretty(:

  • thank you, great idea

  • very helpful tip!!! :)

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!

My nails looked awful as they had loads of excess polish (because I painted them when I was kinda drunk... :/) and I have no polish remover, so I am eternally grateful!

    I will subscribe too! :D

  • Damn girl your fingers are weird. You're asian arent you? You just sound it. O-o no offense.

  • i see a lump on ur nail!

  • Thanks for the tip! I always have trouble when I try to remove polish off my skin with acetone remover

  • @303773taryn ya huge!!!! And bony! No offense :)

  • YOUR FINGERS ARE HUGE NO AFENCE!!!!!! And great idea now I know how if it works

  • @Brooklyn54life what do you mean??

  • your finger is long...like et...lol (not in the bad way)

  • did u just see her finger it so tiny and long lol

  • The excess will come off on it's own in the shower anyway

  • i always have this problem thanks for this tip i gunna try it nexttime i do my nails(:

  • haha cool idea. i showed my mom

  • Woah! I always get mad when some of the polish on my nails gets off when I try to remove it with the remover >:o Thanks soooo much :D

  • i thought this was so cool, lol. i never heard of this before. i wana try it. :)

  • Applying lotion on your hands before polishing works for me, because if you have dry skin, you can tend to have the polish stick to your dead skin and you have to take that off. If you lotion it, the lotion moisturizes your hands while also providing a barrier between the polish and your skin.

  • @allycatanime ohh thanks so much for this tip, i will definitely try it next time :D

  • great tip!! <3

  • dumb you...

  • @rexupen well dumb you too...

  • thanx

  • great tip :)

  • OMG! This works! Thanks so much!

  • umm.. you're kinda brilliant. I've never ever thought of this and i always mess up and then have to start over. Thank you for this!

  • Very nice tip! I try to get the extra off when I'm in the shower. :)

  • haven't tried this yet-but another thing i do to remove excess np is instead of removing the cuticle before applying np, doing it after, that way you can snip off the excess np with the skin that needs to come off anyway-OR using those cuticle tools and running it through your cuticles. that typically works well :)

  • @keetkatt25 ohh i will try that nxt time, thnx 4 the tip :)

  • omgsh thank you, this is a great help!!,

also i never seen a one sided qtip :o!

  • Awesome tip! xo

  • omg thanks so much for this tip. its really helpful because im horrible at painting my nails :(

  • i wish i saw this before i did my nails today had to redo my nail three times =/

  • does the water need to be a certain temperature? (hot/cold)?

  • @Gumball713 nope any temperature is fine but i suppose warm/hot water mite make it even easier since it softens your skin even more :)

  • cool :)
