I have this phone ever since it came out and I haven't changed to another phone. I'be putt CM7 mod on it and it runs just amazing...battery lasts 24hrs for me,2 days if I don't use it much. Screen is amazing even for today's standards. And it has the best sound system I ever heard (provided you activate it through Voodoo Sound control app)

Battery life sucks so I just got a couple extras off Amazon for cheap money less than $15 compared to $50 if you buy it from your master aka cell phone service provider and charged them @ night when I wasnt using it. I do it with all my smartphones especially if your using them all day. Duracell or Energizer need to get in the cellphone battery business so they last and last..

Mine broke after 9 months of use. So after all this wiz bang effect; its made not to last more than the 1 year use. Battery life is very weak and replacement form my carrier t- mobile came at a cost above the 1 year warranty amount and I'm wowed by the used replacement that is coming today. So the exciting thing is, pick your phone carefully.

With android 2.1 this phone is IMO on par with the iphone 4 however with froyo and gingerbread it passes the iphone 4 since the introduction of flash playback on 2.2 and up not to mention this phone boots up faster than the iphone 4

The (my) brazilian version has a wonderful feature... DIGITAL TV!!! It's FOR SURE the best choice here in Brazil for ENTERTAINMENT and also TO WORK! (iphone is good! But not SO good... ;D)

you know why this phone fails like every other android except google's official?

1. comes with shitty UI by the manufacturer (samsung touchwiz in this case)

2. you wont get the latest android updates when they come out (usually have to wait half a year or more after its released

if you want an android, get only google's official phones (lookout for the Nexus S2, or just get the Nexus S)

sign onto a new "compatible" capped 4g data plan effectively booting me off my

@BlackTycoon texting on this phone is great. the battery runs out quickly and a lot of the usages arent explained in the book. for example, i didnt even know how to answer the phone! and it took me 3 days to figure how to delete messsages. transferring music was an isssue too as it only copied one or two songs from my computer...
