hey.best cover i hav a prob with my traps moving forward everytime i play for a while. i see u have something like a stand attached to your boom/cymbal stands that go around the sides and front of your drum kit. does that help the kit from pushing forward and what is it really?

@guy5890 I'm assuming by "Traps" you mean cymbal stands? I'm using a "drum rack system" made by Pearl. It's a standard 3-sided rack system for attaching cymbal boom arms and tom tom holders.  People usually just get rack systems to save on floor space if you would otherwise have a lot of cymbal stands, so it's more efficient in that respect. If you have trouble with your cymbal stands moving, I would suggest you need to put a carpet or rug under your entire drum kit, that should stop it.

Well first off this question would have no relevance to you. Because of the fact that I've been studying for over 10 years with private instruction from drum teachers, and that I decided to learn that song only last year. So it only took me about a half hour to master. I just had to listen to the track a few times more so to memorize the parts rather than actually having to learn "how" to play any of it. As you skill in the instrument increases, it becomes easier to learn songs. =)

Well the actually drum set that I'm using is not even manufactured by Tama anymore. It is the Rockstar Custom model. This kit is about 14 yrs old. My cymbals are all zildjian, for crashes I like the z-custom line. My sticks are Vater 5B's (i will switch between wood tip and nylon depending on the sound I want.) drum heads are remo. I have the pearl 3-sided "curve" rack. Tama Hardware, and Tama iron cobra Power-glide double bass pedal. And I just bought the tama bubinga warlord snaredrum.
