Look at the stats yourself. It's 100% true. The Iveco is very underpowered. Nothing about the Iveco is the benchmark, I don't think you can find 0-62 statistics but I can guarentee it will be wont be impressive.

But you can easily find the performance. The Iveco is powered by something similar to what's in my little Subaru.

In the U.S. we have a lot more power in our vans.

Case in point. The Chevy Express has a 6.6L with 325 Hp, and and 550 Lb-Ft of torque. I just looked in to Euro vans about a year ago, and I was shocked how little power they have.

Dodge adopted the Sprinter with only 80 Hp and about 245 Lb-Ft.

Several years later and the Euro benchmark is still 188 Hp and 325 Lb-Ft which used in the Sprinter.

Believe me the Iveco Daily, is very powerful but also very efficent unlike the American Engines generally speaking. Italian and German Engineers ( in my opinion the finest in the world) can generally can get the same power from a 6.0L American Engine into 2.3-3.0 L Engine, with the added bonus of much lower fuel consumption!

As for the best van, you're probably right, the Iveco is best. You do know that European vans are up to twice as large as ours. I mean look at how little a Chevy Express looks to a full sized Iveco :). Our vans are body-on-frame though.

I had bouth a new Mercedes sprinter back in 1997 and this year i bouth another van, a Iveco daily 35c15.Compering the too car iveco is much stronger,comfortable,better and cheaper
