This is supposed to be about Australia but not many ozzy pronounce "either" as ee-ther. For my whole time over two years there I didn't hear an ee-ther even once.
LOL 2:44 "Oh ... now's my chance." He's so CREEPY. Creepy old pedos sculpt little kids to have a "special bond" with them like what he's doing to Meggie, who doesn't know any better. Mary Carson can see right through him. He's such a creeper.
When I saw that series, I was in late teenage/young adult stage and found Sidney so cuuuuuuute, kept on hoping I would have such an adorable daughter one day. hahaha. Then came Maggy adult (Rachel Ward) and thaught...ho la laaa, hope will get such a pretty wife as well!
As for Richard Chamberlain, no matter what, he is a great actor...Thorn birds, Centennial, Shogun and most of the many movies he played in.
@fisteberg She found real love, albeit a long distance one, (aty least she got to see him once in a while) but she had the satisfaction of knowing how deeply Ralph loved her so yes, until she lost Dane, she had a happy life.
@virgie0714 Yes this part is adorable.Maggy is so naïve and so touching. She wants to get married Ralph but is still a young teenager. She's not a lady yet who keeps her secrets cause she tells Ralph everything, even her period which means she has the absolute confidence towards Ralph and adults but a lot of innocence too.

Meggie was cheated out of real happiness. Luke and Ralph were both selfish.

@fisteberg Meggie never lived without love; first she had Frank then Ralph. But she was always loved.
