i know this will sound insensitive but i dont mean it that way because i loved all the golden girls to death and i still watch the show sometimes when i can catch it,but its ironic that betty who was the oldest is the only surviving golden girl.its just crazy.but really awesome too because where in the hell would be without betty white?the proposal wouldnt have been nearly as funny without her.

That's what made this show so incredible...these actresses were more than that...they were four incredibly talented classy ladies who knew themselves and other people so well that they could flawlessly communicate these written characters into people that we feel like we know and/or have known all our lives. Without doubt...this is truly one of the greatest shows of all time!

it really is sad. but do you remember that episode? right after rose asks that question sophia answers "don't worry, i can take care of myself!", it's hilarious. their acting skills really are ageless. and that is why estelle, bea and rue will always be living on in that series.
