how so many dislikes?! This was easy compared to how annoying I thought it would be. Most products give you some useless broken english instructions; This company went and posted a great video showing exactly how to do it! What is wrong with you people! (Although I wouldnt recommend wiping your screen with just the dry cloth, especially if you have been using your phone a few days like me, you need to get all the smudges off, I used a couple drops of lens cleaner.. and let dry!)

My screen protector worked well and the installation was quite easy after watching this video. I don't know why a lot of people are having a lot of trouble with this. No air bubbles, no dust, no nothing. Really liked it!

ive contacted customer service. im sure theyll help me, ive dealt with otter box before and theyre usually good. but im not impressed by the iphone commuter or this screen protector.

The case I got for my phone is top quality and I absolutely love it. I may not be the type of person who's into protective film for screens, but the case itself is well worth the money. 5 stars!

ok i can confirm it. the otterbox team is awesome. the only downside is i have to wait 5-7 business day till i get another screen protector. but then again it is free (:. if your having trouble with it guys call 855-688-7269. they will send u a new screen protector free.

I have had the otterbox protector on for a full day of climbing in the back-country and LOVE IT. I have never had such an unnoticeable screen protector that holds up so well. I did get some dust during install but feel that if otter box offers a FREE replacement that is pretty good!. Yes the instructions could be better by a long shot but I feel they are an excellent company with great products and service.....

PEOPLE!!! Just do yourself a favor and get a ZAGG screen protector. I just got a Samsung skyrocket and bought my ZAGG protector at BestBuy, before taking off the company "TEXTING IT CAN WAIT" sticky, and the guys at BeatBuy mobile did it flawlwssly for FREE!!! :-) And ZAGG offers a LIFETIME WARRANTY on all their covers...

Wow I really really like this screen protector. I was nervous at first because this video had so many dislikes. I just put mine on right now and it came out perfect. I don't know what all you guys are talking about. Some people can't follow simple 2 STEP Instrucions I guess.

you haters must be retards...I fitted my otterbox case today and the screen cover took maybe 30 seconds to get on....NO dust, NO smudges, NO marks, NO fingerprints etc.

IMHO....these screen protectors are AWESOME and this video is AWESOME!!

You guys, save yourself the hassle and just dont use a screen protector. You wont scratch your screen if you're careful. The Otterbox case is the most protection you will ever need.

I'm glad this video is around as the written instructions that come with the OtterBox are worthless when it comes to protector application. I followed the video instructions precisely but am a little dumbfounded as I don't see that any film was left after removing the pieced attached to the second sticky tab. I am guessing it's stuck to the film I removed, though I don't see it anywhere.

@OtterBoxTV Thanks, I already did that and it was shipped yesterday. I already ordered one from bestskinsever so I'll see which one gets here first. In my e-mail I mentioned the design flaw of the tabs being on the wrong side of the top cover but didn't get any reply on that. I saw the tip of putting it on upside down on the Amazon review so damage to keys has been avoided.

@OurCFCAFamily. The same thing happened to me. I thought I did an awesome job applying the screen protector, then noticed a few days later that there was none on there. These directions are misleading. I didn't see that other layer also. When I pealed off the second tab it removed the protector I think.

Tried for 15min, then threw the protector away. As soon as you remove the film, dust clings to it and you're screwed.

Took me almost my whole lunch break to get the protector on. Took some trial and error but I did get it. If there is residue left over you still have a layer to peel off. Line it up right though as the case will peel it off. Hope this helps.

that's what i did..but when i peeled the second label, the protector did not stick well to the iphone but instead, peeled off the whole thing without the protector on :(

Can the film be removed without leaving anything on the phone? How should I remove it if I want to?

@cutieasilyamused Yes, the film can be removed leaving no residue behind. To remove, run your fingernail under the edge of the protector and peel off.

The screen protector isn't the easiest thing to get on. I used a lint remover several times on it before getting it on right.

Worked great for me! I got one for my Nook, which has 2 separate screens, so I had to do it twice. This is my 2nd otterbox. My first was for my BlackBerry, I got the defender series, which I LOVE. It has saved my BlackBerry countless times. I only wish they made the defender series for Nook. Anyway, good video, thanks Mr. OtterBoxTV dude!

Just got my Otterbox Commuter Case ofr my new iPhone 3GS. I watched the video several times and followed it to the letter. I spent a good deal of time getting all the bubbles out. I peeled off 'label 2', and the screen protecor came right off with it, thus ruining it.

I was able to get the screen protector back on but it has a lot of bubbles I can't get rid of becuase the sticky side was contaminated when it came off. Disappointed...although the case is terrific.
