Yeah, the East side of the bridge raises for downstream boats and the West sides raises for upstream boats. Both sides raise for bigger ships. Thats the old "Spirit", not the aussie ship. "Hojack" refers to the old railroad swing bridge, the last of it's kind!
Yeah thats definately the old (and no longer) Stutson Street Bridge, the O'Rourke bridge goes nearly vertical when its up, and has a much more elaborate control tower, I don't think the steel beams are as prominate either, its more concerete facade now

That's actually the new O'Rorke Bridge, the one that replaced the Stutson Street bridge. Nice video, though.
