A legit question.I'm a man, when I greet another male,I do the firm web to web thing..obvious( I really hate when the other asshole gives a short grip and squishes my fingers..makes me wanna box his ears in return,but that's beside point)..so when I greet a woman professionally or even informally for the first time,I do the shake such as @2:00 is that okay? it always seems awkward afterwards,like Ive blown the greets with the female or something...tell me what you think. no moronic rsp please
I tend to tend to like a firm hand shake, with only one well defined pump. I have found maybe twenty percent of the time that women will cringe in anticipation of a painfully firm handshake when I start to close my hand around theirs.

I think alot of the stuff MAY be becoming a little outdated in the present business workd but... its great to know bc you never know when you're going to have to play the ultra-formal way.
In some Native American tribes a Hand Shake is not really a shake, you still do the hand clasping however you do this small caress thing with your Thumb in stead of shaking the hand up and down.
Ok so why is it everytime I meet with a potential employer I do the nice firm grip handshake and they do it all wussy like, it's weird how this world works haha
