  • @dominicanbassman thanks man, u mean the tone of the bass ?

  • @SlikkTim yea through the camera and the music too im having trouble with that

  • Genius!

  • Vaya!

  • WOW! You accentuate the horn hits and still stay in the bass clave- im gonna get back to work- this is a great example of latin bass thanks!

  • haha bro, this is Bobby Valentin's bassline note for note. But havin composed and arranged (and played of course) for latin bands, everything is usually written out in advance, there's very few improvisation for the coros in salsa dura.

  • I meant verso's :D

  • I bet u already played this, but can upload 'mas bajo' and 'el caiman' from bobby appreciated

  • Actually never played 'em but lov em ! So many great ones... Brujeria, Huracan (played that live, the older version sounds ruffer to me hehe) I love that first track from his latest album too, sick harmonics intro riff

  • Bobby Val. has an incredible way of playing that "AWESOME" basslines!

  • Bro great cover!! Keep going! someone knows how i can get that partiture??'....

  • I am a guitar player learning how to play the Bass, this is cool , I'll take it as a lesson.

  • Great playing...you should also try Bobby's "Cantare con una orquesta", "Ramo de flores", "Tu mejor amiga" and "Alma corazon y vida" (among others) ...they are equally challenging as (or even more than) "Cuando uno se enamora". Keep the goods coming!

  • It's not easy to play a Bobby Valentin bass piece and you just made it flawlessly... Very Respectfully,,,

  • Thanks a bunch ! Bobby Valentin rules, he really is the best compromise between old-school boomy power and modern flashiness when it comes to salsa bass.

  • @SlikkTim I couldn't agree more. And above all there's always the deepest fucking groove. Every time I make a salsa playlist it just ends up being a Valentin playlist lol.

  • @pzcato Well, my favorite is Willie Rosario still.

  • @SlikkTim don't know much Willie Rosario. Any suggestions?

  • @pzcato You're gonna get your head blown. Check Tres Con Cache for a start. His band was so powerful at the time of that album, he hired two stars in the makin' to sing lead: Tony Vega AND Gilberto Santarosa ! Crazy !!

  • @SlikkTim thanks, bro. I'll check it out! Love your vids. Keep doin' your thing.

  • @pzcato thanks, Im gonna move into high gear on the latin tip soon. Be prepared :D

  • grooove groooooooove !!!! terrific !

  • Dude you realy got some skills!! i love the latin salsa music! And dude haha that black sunglas does realy lookin cool! keep up the works!

    PEACE!
